Returning and Emptying a Phone Key

This section describes how to return and empty a Phone Key on iLOQ Manager.

When you return a Phone Key, it is always emptied.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

     
  2. Select the Phone Key to be removed from the Browse keys list.
  3. Right-click the key and select Return and empty key.
    The Return of keys wizard is opened.
  4. Select Return keys.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Select how to handle the returned key information.

    Select one, both, or none of the options below:

    • Retain returned keys in the system — Select this check box if you want to keep the key definition in the system. However, the key will be emptied.

      The key will remain in the In planning state.

    • Retain key connections to persons — Select this check box if you want to retain the key attachments to persons.

  7. Select Next.
  8. A summary screen is shown.
  9. Select Ready.
  10. A summary screen is shown.
  11. Select whether to print out a key return document.

    The options are:

    • Do not print — Select this radio button to skip the printing option.
    • Print return document to each key — Select this radio button to print out a return document to each returned key.
    • Print return document for keys by person — Select this radio button to print out a return document for keys by person.
  12. Select Close.

    The Phone Key programming state remains Sent until the phone confirms that the key has been removed. Monitor the Phone Key state by selecting Refresh, until the key disappears or enters the In planning programming state.

  13. If you selected an option to print out a return document, the return document is opened in a new tab.
