Re-activating an Existing Phone Key

This section describes what to do when an already programmed phone key must be re-activated.

This can take place when:

  • User has a new SIM card.

  • User has a new phone.

  • User has removed application data from the phone.

  • User has uninstalled the Phone App.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

  2. Select the desired key.
  3. Right-click to select Send to key > Registration request.

    The Send to phone key wizard is opened.

  4. Select Send registration message.
  5. Select the phone to which the key registration message is to be sent.
  6. Select Next.
  7. Select where to send the key registration message:
    • Send the key registration message to the current phone number.

    • Send the key registration message to another phone number.

    • Instead of sending the registration message over SMS, there is also the possibility to send the registration message to a phone over email.

  8. Select Next.
  9. A summary screen is shown.
  10. Select Ready.
