This section describes how to add access rights to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

2. Select Add access right.
   The Adding of access right wizard is opened.
3. Select Add access right.
4. Name the access right.
   Tip:

   Typically, the first access right is for the entire premises, and is called, for example, "Master access".

5. Enter a description for the access right. For example, "Access to all premises".
6. Select whether a conditional access is used for the access right by checking or unchecking the Conditional access active check box.

   For more information on conditional access rights, see Access Rights.

7. Enter a more detailed description for the conditional access right.
8. Select whether the access right will, by default, be added to new locks by checking or unchecking the Add to new locks by default check box.
   Tip:

   If you are creating a system-wide master key access right supposed to be in all locks, choose Yes. In this way, you will never forget to add the access right to new locks.

9. Select visibility for the access right.

10. Select the access right type.

    For more information on access right types, see Access Rights.

11. Select Next.
12. A summary screen is shown.
13. Select Ready.
14. Select Close.

This section describes how to add a single lock directly onto a floor plan.

1. Select Basic data > Browse floor plans.
   
2. Select the desired floor plan.
3. Hover your mouse over the desired door and right-click to select Lock > Add lock (Ctrl+N).
   The Add lock wizard is opened.
4. Select Add lock.
5. Define the lock settings as follows:

   • Placement — Placement refers to the location of the lock on the floor plan. If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first placement in a way that it ends with a number, such as A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive placement numbers as follows:

     • A1
     • A2
     • A3
     • ...

   • Approach direction — Approach direction refers to the direction where the lock will be opened from, if the door is equipped with double side lock.

   • Locking target — Locking target provides a more detailed description or name of the room or premises, where the lock will lead to.

     If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first locking target in a way that it ends with a number, such as Apartment A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive locking targets as follows:

     • Apartment A1
     • Apartment A2
     • Apartment A3
     • ...

   • Lock cylinder — Lock cylinder refers to the lock cylinder type. Select the type from the drop-down list, or enter the type manually.

   • Lock type — Select whether the Lock type is:

     • D5 normal, the lock is an offline lock.

     • S5, the lock is an S5 lock.

     • S5 Online, the lock is an online S5 lock connected to a network module.

       If the lock type is S5 Online, also select whether or not the system automatically receives audit trail events from the lock, by checking the Save lock audit trails automatically check box.

     • S50 normal, the lock is an online S50 lock.

   • Clock installed — Select Clock installed if there is a clock circuit in the lock. If the selected Lock cylinder contains a clock, Clock installed will be automatically selected.

   • Lock collects audit trail — Select whether the lock collects audit trail or not.

6. Select Next.
7. Enter additional information as necessary.

   The fields are:

   • Door type — Door type refers to the type of door where the lock will be mounted on.
   • Escutcheon — Escutcheon refers to the shield plate that surrounds the keyhole on the door.
   • Lock model — Lock model refers to the model of the lock case.
   • Cylinder extension — Cylinder extension refers to the extension that will be added to the new lock.
   • Door thickness (mm) — Door thickness indicates the thickness of the door where the lock will be mounted on.
   • Lock frame depth (mm) — Depth of lock body (mm) indicates the depth of the lock case.
   • Opening direction — Opening direction indicates the door opening direction.
   • Label — Label refers to the label on the lock.
   • Note — Note refers to additional information on the lock or the door.
   • Other equipment — Other equipment refers to other equipment related to the lock or the door.
   • Conditional access — This check box indicates whether the lock is connected to a device that controls conditional access.
   • Description of the conditional access — Add a description of the conditional access in this field. You can, for example, describe the device that is controlling the conditional access.
8. Select Next.
9. Select the access rights for the lock.

   The default access right will be automatically added for the lock.

   1. Select the desired access right in the list on the left.
   2. You can manage the selection of access right with the key buttons as follows:
      •  — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
10. Select Next.
11. Optional: Select the time profiles:

    • Not time limited — If you select this option, the lock ignores all time profiles on keys. In other words, the keys function 24/7 even if they do have a time profile.

    • Apply all time profiles on a key — If you select this option, the lock applies all time profiles on keys.

    • Apply selected time profiles — If you select this option, the lock only applies the selected time profiles on keys. If the selected time profiles do not match with the key time profiles, the key functions all the time.

      You can manage the selection of time profiles with the arrow buttons as follows:

      •  — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      •  — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.

      You can view the content of a fixed time profile on the area to the right, by selecting the profile with your mouse. Editable time profile content is not shown, as it may be key-specifically modified.

12. Regardless of your selection, the lock always applies the key validity start and end dates and times.

13. Select Next.
14. Select if you want to create an individual access right or not.

    For more information, see Access Rights.

15. Select Next.
16. Select Order locks.

    Selecting Order locks leaves the locks in the Ordered state. Later, you must program the locks through the lock list.

17. Select Next.
18. A summary screen is shown.
19. Select Ready.
20. A status screen is shown, displaying the lock that is being programmed.
21. Follow the instructions on the programming status screen.
22. Select Close.

This section describes how to add a new person to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse persons.

   

2. Select Add person.
   The Adding a person wizard is opened.
3. Select Add base data of a person.
4. Enter personal information as follows:
   • Last name — Enter the person's last name in the Last name field.
   • First name — Enter the person's first name in the First name field.
   • Company/Department — Enter the company or department name where the person is employed, in the Company/Department field.
   • Title — Enter the person's title in the Title field.
   • Identification — Enter the person's company ID number in the Identification field.
   • End date of an employment — Enter the ending date of the person's employment. This date is automatically set for the person's key, as its Expiration date.
5. Select Next.
6. Enter contact information as follows:
   • Address — Enter the person's address in the Address field.
   • Postal code and post office — Enter the person's postal code and post office, in the Postal code and post office field.
   • Country — Enter the country where the person lives, in the Country field.
   • Telephone 1/2/3 — Enter the person's telephone numbers, in the telephone fields.
   • Email — Enter the person's email address, in the Email field.
   • External ID — Enter the person's ID in an external system. This ID is used for Application Programming Interface (API) communications only.
   • Description — Enter a description of the person, in the Description field.
7. Select Next.
8. A summary screen is shown.
9. Select Ready.
10. Select Close.

This section describes how to add keys to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

   

2. Select Add key.
   The Add key wizard is opened.
3. Select Add key.
4. Name the key in The name / description of the key field.
   Tip:

   Use, for example, "Master key" or "Employee".

5. Define the Start date for the key.

   This value defines the start date and time for key validity, that is, the key starts to operate on this time.

6. Define the End date for the key.

   This value defines the end date and time for key validity, that is, the key stops to operate on this time.

7. If necessary, enter the planned return date in the Planned return date field.
   Note:

   This field is informative only, for the administrator. The value does not affect the key validity.

8. Select the key type:

   • Key Fob

   • Phone

   • S5

9. Select the Offline expiration time.

   If a system default offline expiration time is defined, it is suggested for the key. You can define a key-specific offline expiration time by editing the suggested time.

   • In the case of a Key Fob:

     By default, a Key Fob is an offline device. In that regard, the offline expiration time is the validity time of the Key Fob.

     However, when a Key Fob obtains a server connection, the offline expiration time is reset. A Key Fob obtains a server connection remotely over-the-air by using the iLOQ FobApp application.

   • In the case of a Phone Key:

     When the phone loses connection to the mobile phone network, the offline expiration time starts to elapse. When this time has elapsed, the phone key is invalidated.

10. Select Next.
11. If necessary, select the person whom the key will be handed over to.
    Tip:

    If the desired person does not exist on the person list, you can add a new person by right-clicking to select Add new person.

12. Select Next.
13. Select the access right(s) for the key.
    1. Select the desired access right in the list on the left. Select, for example, "Master access right" for the "Master key".
    2. You can manage the selection of access rights with the arrow buttons as follows:
       •  — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
14. Select Next.
15. Define time profile settings for the key.

    Select either:

    • Time profiles not in use — Time profiles will not be use on the key.

    • Select time profiles — Select this option to select time profiles for the key.

16. Select Next.
17. Select the time profile(s) for the key.
    1. Select the desired time profile in the list on the left.
    2. You can manage the selection of time profiles with the arrow buttons as follows:
       •  — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
       •  — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.

       If you have selected:

       • A fixed time profile, you can view its content in the area to the right.

       • An editable time profile, you can view and edit its content for this specific key, in the area to the right.

18. Select Next.
19. Select the number of keys to be created.
20. Select Next.
21. Select how to proceed:

    • For the Phone key type:

      • Leave keys in planning state — Select Leave keys in planning state if you want to leave the key in the planning state, and program the key later.

      • Send keys — Select Send keys if you want to send the programming task to the phone.

    • For the Key Fob or S5 key type:

      • Leave key in planning state — Select Leave key in planning state if you want to leave the key in the planning state, and program the key later.

      • Order key — Select Order key if you want to create the programming task, but execute it later, or remotely program the key through a phone.

      • Order and program — Select Order and program if you want to create the programming task and execute it at once.

      • Order, program and handover key — Select Order, program and handover key if you want to create the programming task, execute it at once for a key at hand, and handover the key.

22. Select Next.
23. Optional: In the case of sending Phone keys, a summary screen is opened.
24. Optional: Select Ready.
25. Optional: In the case of sending Phone keys, select how to send the keys to the phone.

    The options are SMS or Email. Fill in the information.

26. Optional: Select Order.
27. Optional: A summary screen is shown.
28. Optional: Select Close.
29. A summary screen is shown.
30. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to add time profiles in the system deployment phase.

1. Select Time profiles.

   The screen below is opened:

   

2. Name the time profile.
3. Optional: Write a description for the time profile.
4. Select Edit times to enter weekdays and times for the time profile.
   1. Select Add row.

      The screen below is opened:

      

   2. Select the dates and times.
   3. Optional: Select Add row to add more dates and times.
5. Select the Add to apartment keys check box, if you want that the time profile will be added to new keys by default.
6. Select Add time profile.
7. Optional: If necessary, add more time profiles.
8. Select Next.

This section describes how to add access rights in the system deployment phase.

1. Select Access rights.

   The screen below is opened:

   

2. Fill in the fields, as follows:

   • Access right information

     • Name — Name the access right group.

     • Description — Give a description for the access right group. For example, "Access to all premises".

       Tip:

       Typically, the first access right is for the entire premises, and is called, for example, "Master access".

   • Conditional access right

     • Conditional access active — Select if you want the access right group to be conditional.

       For more information on, see Access Rights.

     • Description — Give a description for the conditional access right group.

   • Default settings

     • Add to new locks as default — Select whether the access right will, by default, be added to new locks.

     • Add to apartment keys — Select whether the access right will, by default, be added to apartment keys.

3. Select Add access right to add more access right groups.

   The added access right groups are listed in the Added access rights list, where you can also edit them.

4. Select Next.
