This section describes how to view the properties of a single access rights on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

    
2. The access rights are shown in the grid view. To view more properties of an access right, double-click the access right.
   Note:

   You can view object data in two ways:

   • Show sought-after situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it will be, when all pending changes have been programmed for the object.
   • Show the effective situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it currently is.

   Access right-specific details are, by tabs:

   • Basic information — The Basic information tab contains the basic information on the selected access right. The fields are:

     • Name — This field contains the name of the access right.

     • Description — This field contains the description of the access right.

     • Type — The access right type. The options are:

       • Standard
       • API

     • See Access Rights.

     • Conditional access — This field indicates whether the access right is conditional.

     • Description of the conditional access — This field contains a description of the conditional access.

     • Default access right — The check box indicates the default access right.

   • Locks using — The Locks using tab contains information on the locks that have the selected access right. The columns are described in section Browsing Locks.

   • Keys using — The Keys using tab contains information on the keys that have the selected access right. The columns are described in section Browsing Keys.

   • Roles using — The tab contains information on the roles that have the selected access right.

3. When done, press the Close button.

This section describes how to add access rights to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

    
2. Select Add access right.
   The Adding of access right wizard is opened.
3. Select Add access right.
4. Name the access right.
   Tip:

   Typically, the first access right is for the entire premises, and is called, for example, "Master access".

5. Enter a description for the access right. For example, "Access to all premises".
6. Select whether a conditional access is used for the access right by checking or unchecking the Conditional access active check box.

   For more information on conditional access rights, see Access Rights.

7. Enter a more detailed description for the conditional access right.
8. Select whether the access right will, by default, be added to new locks by checking or unchecking the Add to new locks by default check box.
   Tip:

   If you are creating a system-wide master key access right supposed to be in all locks, choose Yes. In this way, you will never forget to add the access right to new locks.

9. Select visibility for the access right.

10. Select the access right type.

    For more information on access right types, see Access Rights.

11. Select Next.
12. A summary screen is shown.
13. Select Ready.
14. Select Close.

This section describes how to edit the access right lock selections on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

2. Right-click the access right that you want to edit, and select Add / remove lock.
   The Edit access right wizard is opened.
3. Select Edit access right selections.
4. Edit the lock selections of the access right.
   • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
5. Select Next.
6. If you are:

   • Deploying new locks, the options are:

     • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and continue planning the locking system without, for example, programming any physical locks.

     • Order programming task — Select Order programming task if you know that the lock definitions are final, but you want to program the lock later.

       For more information, see Ordering Locks.

     • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks:

       • If you know that the lock definitions are final, and you want to program the lock at once.
       • For locks that have not yet been installed on the premises.

   • Reprogramming deployed locks, the options are:

     • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and program the locks later.

     • Order and send — Select Order and send if want to create the programming tasks and transfer them to keys, and let the keys carry out the programming, when the key is used on the lock.

     • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks for S5 locks, if you want to create the programming task, and execute it at once for a single lock at hand.

7. Select Next.
8. Optional: If you selected Order and send, select whether to send the tasks to all keys or to selected keys only.
9. Optional: Select Next.
10. A summary screen is shown.
11. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to edit the access right key selections on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

2. Right-click the access right that you want to edit, and select Add / remove key.
   The Edit access right wizard is opened.
3. Select Edit access right selections.
4. Edit the key selections of the access right.
   1. You can manage the selection of keys with the arrow buttons as follows:
      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
5. Select Next.
6. Select how to proceed.

   The options are:

   • Leave key in planning state — Select Leave keys in planning state if you want to leave the key in the planning state, and continue planning the locking system without, for example, programming any physical keys.
   • Order key — Keys must be ordered, before they can be programmed. Ordering creates a programming task for the key, for later programming. For more information, see Keys.
   • Order and program key — Select Order and program key to order a programming task, and to program the key at once.
   • Order, program and hand over key — Select Order, program and hand over key to order a programming task, and to program the key, and to hand over the key to a person, at once.
7. Select Next.
8. A summary screen is shown.
9. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to add individual access rights to locks on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

2. Right-click the lock to which you want to add individual access rights, and select Add individual access right.
   The Addition of individual access rights wizard is opened.
3. Select Create individual access right to lock.
4. Select the access right type.

   For more information on access right types, see section Access Rights.

5. Select the visibility of the access right in the Visibility of access right drop-down menu.
6. Select Next.
7. If you are:

   • Deploying new locks, the options are:

     • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and continue planning the locking system without, for example, programming any physical locks.

     • Order programming task — Select Order programming task if you know that the lock definitions are final, but you want to program the lock later.

       For more information, see Ordering Locks.

     • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks:

       • If you know that the lock definitions are final, and you want to program the lock at once.
       • For locks that have not yet been installed on the premises.

   • Reprogramming deployed locks, the options are:

     • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and program the locks later.

     • Order locks — Select Order locks for S5 locks, if you want to create the programming task, but execute it later, or program networked locks.

     • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks for S5 locks, if you want to create the programming task, and execute it at once for a single lock at hand.

     • Order and send — Select Order and send for S50 locks, if you want to create the programming tasks and transfer them to default programming phones, and let the phones carry out the programming, when the phone is placed against the lock.

       If you select this option, the lock will enter the Ordered state. This means that the lock programming package has been sent to the default programming phone(s). The lock enters the Issued to programming state when the phone replies to the server that is has received the package. Finally, when the phone has visited the lock and programmed it, the lock enters the Programmed state.

       Note:

       The Browse locks view is not automatically refreshed, but you must press the Refresh button to refresh the view to see the changes in the lock programming state.

     • Order and transfer tasks to programmer — Select Order and transfer tasks to programmer if you want to create the programming tasks, transfer them to the Programming Token, and take the Programming Token with you to program the locks at the site. If you have networked locks, this option will also program them through the network.

8. Select Next.
9. Optional: If you selected Order and send or S50 locks, select whether to send the tasks to all keys or to selected keys only.
10. Optional: Select Next.
11. A summary screen is shown.
12. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to delete access rights from iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Additional data > Browse access rights.

   

    
2. Select the access rights you want to delete.
3. Select Edit > Editing mode to enable the editing mode.
4. Right-click one of the selected access rights and select Delete.
   Alternatively, you can press the Del key.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.
7. Select Edit > Editing mode to disable the editing mode.
8. The system asks whether you want to save the changes. Select Yes.

With time profiles, you can define how the keys behave with locks on specific week days and times.

There are two types of time profiles:

• A fixed time profile is always identical on keys. If you later edit the time profile, it affects all keys within this profile, as the time profile schedule is only stored on the keys.

  You can use this type of time profile, for example, as a general time limitation for a group of people, such as maintenance personnel. If the working hours of maintenance personnel change, you only have to edit once the time profile, not each individual key, to make the change.

• An editable time profile is not necessarily identical on all keys. When you create this type of a time profile, you define time restrictions that are suggested to the key, but which can be key-specifically edited. If you later edit the time profile, it does not affect the existing keys having this profile. However, the edited profile is suggested when adding the profile to a key.

  You can use this type of time profile, for example, for individual time limitations to a specific lock.

  Use case example

  A company has a server room, and employees should have more restricted access to the room than their general time profiles allow.

  Instead of creating new fixed time profiles for each employee group for the server room, you create one server room-specific time profile that is editable. When you assign the time limitation to, for example, a maintenance person key, you select this profile and define the desired time limits, which apply to this room and key only.

  You can use the same time profile for a cleaner, with different time limitations.

There are three time profile settings for locks:

• Not time limited — If you select this option, the lock ignores all time profiles on keys. In other words, the keys function 24/7 even if they do have a time profile.

• Apply all time profiles on a key — If you select this option, the lock applies all time profiles on keys.

• Apply selected time profiles — If you select this option, the lock only applies the selected time profiles on keys. If the selected time profiles do not match with the key time profiles, the key functions all the time.

Regardless of the lock setting, the lock always applies the key validity start and end dates and times.

This section describes how to browse time profiles on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse time profiles.

   The columns are:

   • Description — This column contains the description of the time profile.

   • Time profile name — This column contains the name of the time profile.

   • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the time profile belongs to.

   • Zone — This column indicates the zone where the time profile belongs to.

   • Type — This column contains the type of the time profile.

   • Keys using — The Keys using tab contains information on the keys that have the selected time profile. The columns are described in section Browsing Keys.

3. When done, press the Close button.

This section describes how to add time profiles on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse time profiles.

   

    
2. Select Add time profile.
   The Adding a time profile wizard is opened.
3. Select Add time profile.
4. Name the time profile.
5. Enter a description for the time profile.
6. Select the time profile type.

   See Time Profiles.

7. Select Next.
8. Define the time limitations.

   Select the week days and times when you want the time profile to allow access.

   If you need to have different times on different week days, select Add to add a new week day definition.

9. Select Next.
10. A summary screen is shown.
11. Select Ready.
