This section describes how to view the properties of zones on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse zones.

   

    
2. The zones are shown in the grid view. For more information on an individual zone, double-click the zone to open zone-specific details.

   Zone specific details are, by tabs:

   • Basic info — The Basic infotab contains the basic information on the selected zone. The fields are:
     • Name — This field contains the name of the zone.
     • Description — This field contains the description of the zone.
   • Locks using — The Locks using tab contains information on the locks that the selected zone has. The columns are described in section Browsing Locks.
   • Access rights — The Access rights tab contains information on the access rights that the selected zone has. The columns are described in section Browsing Access Rights.
   • Keys — The Keys tab contains information on keys that the selected zone has. The columns are described in section Browsing Keys.
   • Persons — The Persons tab contains information on persons that the selected zone has. The columns are described in section Browsing Persons.
   • Users — The Users tab contains information on the users that have access to this zone. The columns are described in section Browsing Users.
   • Calendars — The Calendars tab contains information on calendars that the selected zone has.
   • Code access groups — The Code access groups tab contains information on code access groups that the selected zone has.
3. When done, press the Close button.

This section describes how to manage the keys on zones on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse zones.

   

2. Right-click the zone that you want to manage, and select Add / remove key.
   The Edit zone selections wizard is opened.
3. Select Edit zone selections.
4. Edit the key selections of the zone.
   • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
5. Select Next.
6. A summary screen is shown.
7. Select Ready.

This section describes how to move objects to zones on iLOQ Manager.

1. Open the page that contains the objects you want to move to the zone, for example, Basic data > Browse locks.
2. Select the objects that you want to move.
3. Right click the objects to select Change zone of a <object>.
   The Change zone of <object> wizard is opened.
4. Select Change zone.
5. If necessary, select the objects that will be moved.
6. Select Next.
7. Select the zone where the objects will be moved.
8. Select Next.
9. A summary screen is shown.
10. Select Ready.
11. Select Close.

This section describes how to delete zones from iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Additional data > Browse zones.

   

    
2. Select the zones that you want to delete.
3. Select Edit > Editing mode to enable the editing mode.
4. Right-click one of the selected zones and select Delete.
   Alternatively, you can press the Del key.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.
7. Select Edit > Editing mode to disable the editing mode.
8. The system asks whether you want to save the changes. Select Yes.

This section describes how to edit the basic information of the locking system, on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

   

    
2. The basic information screen is opened. The fields are:
   • Name of locking system — This field contains the license contract number. You cannot edit this field.
   • Reservation device registration — This field contains the system code for the iLOQ Booker device, if in use.
   • System name — This field contains the locking system name that will be present in different reports taken from the system.
   • Address — This field contains the locking system street address, if any.
   • Responsible person — This field contains the name of the contact person that is responsible for the locking system.
   • Person responsible for programming — This field contains the name of the primary person that is responsible for the programming of the locking system.
   • Status— This field contains the status of the locking system. Possible values are:
     • In use — The locking system is in use.
     • Not in use — The locking system is not in use. This value is obsolete.
   • Message in front page — This field contains a message that is shown in the locking system front page.
3. Select Save and close.

This section describes how to edit the locking system settings on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

   

    
2. Select Settings in the Views area.
3. The system settings screen is opened. The settings are:

   • Handed over key can be attached to another person without returning the key — If this setting is in use, you can detach or re-attach a handed-over key to another person without returning the key first. This feature is useful, if the key changes owner without returning the key to the administrator.

     Note:

     If you attach a handed-over key to another person without returning the key first, pay attention to the audit trails on locks that have no clocks. These audit trails will show that the key owner is the person to whom the key was attached to at the audit trail picking moment, as a clockless lock does not know when the person has changed. If the key is returned before handing it over to a new person, even the clockless locks will know which user has accessed the lock. Therefore, it is recommended to return the key before handing it over to a new person.

   • Estate functionality active — If this setting is used, estates are enabled. For more information, see Estates.

   • Code-access groups in use — If this setting is used, code-access groups are enabled. For more information, see Calendar Controlled Doors.

   • Key PIN-codes in use — If this setting is used, key PIN-codes are enabled. For more information, see Calendar Controlled Doors.

   • Key RFID tag number function available — The keys can contain RFID tags. If this is the case, the RFID data can be managed as follows:

     • Not in use — The keys contain no RFID tags.
     • Field locked — The keys with RFID tags are delivered by iLOQ, and the tags contain unique IDs. The unique ID is automatically transferred to the software when the key is programmed. You cannot edit the ID manually.
     • Field editable — The keys are delivered by iLOQ. The keys are equipped with RFID tags by the customer, and the tags contain identifiers. The user must type in the tag identifier manually when programming the key. The user can later edit the identifier.

   • Default access right — You can select the system default access right in this drop-down menu. The default access right will be automatically added to new locks.

   • Net Bridge firmware remote update in use — If this setting is in use, Net Bridge automatically updates the software and firmware on itself and on the bus devices.

   • Update time — You can define the start time for the allowed software and firmware installation period. The allowed installation period lasts for three hours.

   • Postponed Hot spot key update in use — If this setting is in use, you can define access right changes on keys for the future. These changes are not available at the Key Programming Hot Spot until the defined date.

   • Key fob expiration time — If this setting is in use, the system suggests a default offline expiration time for new Key Fobs.

   • Phone Key expiration time — If this setting is in use, the system suggests a default offline expiration time for new Phone Keys.

   • API access rights in use — If this setting is in use, access rights can be managed through an API. There are two types of access rights:

     • Standard access rights. These access rights are Programming Token encrypted. It is possible to add or remove standard access rights to/from a key or lock, through an API. However, programming requires the presence of a physical Programming Token, as the keys or locks are left in the In planning state if edited through the API.

       It is recommended to use standard access rights for access rights that open a large amount of locks, and/or when no API is used to manage access rights.

       Standard access rights provide a higher security level, as the user need a user ID, password and the Programming Token to program keys and locks.

     • API access rights. These access rights are database encrypted. Programming API access rights to/from a deployed key or lock does not require the presence of a physical Programming Token.

       It is recommended to use API access rights for access rights that open a limited amount of locks only, not for, for example, the master access right that can open all locks in the system.

       With API access rights, deployed keys and locks can be programmed with a user ID and password only, without the Programming Token.

4. Select Save and close.

This section describes how to change the time zone of the locking system on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

   

    
2. Select Time zone in the Views area.
3. If necessary, select the correct time zone in the Time zone drop-down menu.
4. Select Save and close.

This section describes how to edit the default report texts on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

   

    
2. Select Report texts in the Views area.
3. Select the desired report in the Report drop down menu.
4. Select the desired report language by clicking the desired flag icon.
5. The report text is opened in the editor view.
6. Edit the report text.

   The editor controls will be familiar to you from any text editor.

   You can use locking system specific variables in the text by clicking the Add field button .

   The variables dynamically add information from the system to the location where the variable is used. The variables are as follows:

   • Name of locking system — This variable adds the name of the locking system to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!LGDescription].
   • Name of locking system and estate — This variable adds the name of the locking system and the name of the estate to which the key belongs, to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!LGDescriptionAndRealEstate].
   • The name of the person — This variable adds the name of the person attached to the key, to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!PersonName].
   • The name of the person and identifier — This variable adds the name and ID number of the person, to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!PersonNameAndPersonCode].
   • Company/department — This variable adds the name of the company/department to which the person belongs, to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!CompanyName].
   • Logged in user — This variable adds the name of the logged-in user to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!UserName].
   • Description of the key — This variable adds the description of the key to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!Description].
   • Key label — This variable adds the label of the key to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!Stamp].
   • Key RFID tag number — This variable adds the RFID tag number of the key to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!TagKey].
   • Rom_ID — This variable adds the serial number of the key to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!Rom_ID].
   • Date — This variable adds the current date to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!Date]
   • Key PIN-code — This variable adds the PIN code of the key to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!AccessCode].
   • Signature — This variable adds a field for a digital signature image to the report. In the report editor, this variable is presented as [!SignatureImage].
7. While editing, you can press the Cancel button to undo unsaved changes. If you are not happy with the changes you have saved to the report, you can press the Reset report to default button at any time to restore the default report.
8. Select Save and close.
