This section describes how to delete a dashboard from iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Dashboard.

   

    
2. From the drop-down list at the top-left corner of the screen, select the dashboard, which you want to delete.

   The dashboard is opened in the editing mode.

3. Select Delete.

Locks refer to the lock cylinders in the locking system.

You can distribute system administration by allowing one user to order, that is, approve, programming changes to locks. Another user, for example, with limited usage rights, can carry out ordered programming tasks, but cannot modify the content of these programming tasks.

From the perspective of iLOQ Locking System, locks can be divided into two categories:

• Logical locks — Logical locks are lock definitions that exist on iLOQ Manager only.

• Physical locks — Physical locks refer to the actual lock cylinders.

Due to the nature of the offline system, it is important to understand that the state of the physical locks at the site and the state of the logical locks may differ in the state transition phase. Only when the lock programming state is Programmed, the physical lock and the logical lock have the desired, matching configuration. In all other states, there may be tasks pending for the lock. Thus, the Programmed state is always the desired state for the locks in the system.

On the software, it is important to understand whether the logical lock has a physical counterpart or not. If the logical lock has a serial number in the software, it also has a physical counterpart. If the logical lock does not have a serial number in the software, it is only a definition of a new lock. Thus, the logical lock programming state does not indicate whether the logical lock has a physical counterpart or not.

This section describes how to view lock information on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

    
2. The locks are shown in the grid view.

   The columns are:

   • Placement — This column indicates the door or room number on the floor plan where the lock is located at.
   • Floor plan — This column indicates the floor plan where the lock is located at.
   • Locking target — This column contains a more detailed description of the door or room where the lock is located at.
   • Lock cylinder — Lock cylinder refers to the lock cylinder type.
   • Serial number — Serial number indicates the serial number of the lock. If a lock has a serial number in the software, it also has a physical counterpart. This information is only shown for locks that have been programmed in the system.
   • Programming state— This column contains the programming state of the lock. Possible values are:
     • Programmed — The lock has been programmed, and the physical lock has the same data as shown in iLOQ Manager. This is the desired state for the locks in the system.
     • Ordered — The lock has been ordered. A lock programming task has been created for the lock. It is either a task for initial programming of a new physical lock, or a re-programming task for an existing lock. However, the lock programming is pending. A user with enough usage rights can program the lock.
     • Transferred to programming — A lock programming task has been transferred to Programming Token.
     • In planning — Changes to an existing lock information have been made, or a new lock has been added, but not yet created as a programming task (that is, ordered).
   • Lock type— The type of lock. The options are:

     • D5 normal, the lock is an offline lock.

     • S5, the lock is an S5 lock.

     • S5 Online, the lock is an online S5 lock connected to a network module.

       If the lock type is S5 Online, also select whether or not the system automatically receives audit trail events from the lock, by checking the Save lock audit trails automatically check box.

     • S50 normal, the lock is an online S50 lock.

   • Programming incomplete — This status column indicates whether the lock programming state is incomplete or complete.
   • Programming type— This column indicates the latest lock programming type. Possible values are:
     • Normal — The latest lock programming has been an access right or time limit change.
     • Blocklist change — A key has been or will be added to or removed from the blocklist.
     • Reset — The lock will be reset.
   • Editor — This column indicates the user that has last changed the lock programming state.
   • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the lock belongs to.
   • Zone — This column indicates the zone where the lock belongs to.
   • Lock model — This column indicates the lock model.
   • Escutcheon — This column indicates the escutcheon type.
   • Door type — This column indicates the door type.
   • Approach direction — Approach direction refers to the direction where the lock will be opened from, if the door is equipped with a double-sided lock.
   • Cylinder extension — This column indicates whether the lock has an extension piece, and its length. The extension piece is used to extend the lock cylinder length.
   • Door thickness (mm) — This column indicates the door thickness. This may be necessary information for mounting the door.
   • Lock frame depth (mm) — This column indicates the depth of the lock body. This may be necessary information for mounting the door.
   • Opening direction — This column indicates the door handedness.
   • Label — This column contains the label of the lock.
   • Note — This column contains additional information on the lock.
   • Other requirements — This column contains other requirements related to the lock.
   • Count of access rights — This column indicates the number of access rights assigned for the lock.
   • Hw version — Hw version refers to the lock cylinder hardware version.
   • Sw version — Sw version refers to the lock cylinder software version.
   • Clock installed — The check box in this status column indicates whether there is a clock installed on the lock or not.
   • RTC installation date —This column indicates the time when the clock circuit was installed on the lock.
   • Last edited — This status column indicates when the lock programming state was last changed.
   • Time limited — This status column indicates whether the lock is time limited or not.
   • Outdoor use — The check box in this status column indicates whether the lock is suitable for outdoor use or not.
   • Up to date blocklist — This column indicates whether the lock has an up-to-date blocklist or not.

   The locks in the grid have color codes as follows:

   • Green — The lock is selected.
   • Pink — The lock has an error status. See the tool tip by hovering your mouse over the row.
   • Orange — The lock is a networked lock that has not yet reported its existence to the server.

This section describes how to view the properties of locks in iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

    
2. The locks are shown in the grid view. For more information on an individual lock, double-click the lock to open lock-specific details.
   Note:

   You can view object data in two ways:

   • Show sought-after situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it will be, when all pending changes have been programmed for the object.
   • Show the effective situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it currently is.

   Lock-specific details are, by tabs:

   • Basic information — The Basic information tab contains the basic information on the selected lock. The columns are:

     • Placement — This column indicates the door or room number on the floor plan where the lock is located at.
     • Floor plan — This column indicates the floor plan where the lock is located at.
     • Locking target — This column contains a more detailed description of the door or room where the lock is located at.
     • Serial number — Serial number indicates the serial number of the lock. If a lock has a serial number in the software, it also has a physical counterpart. This information is only shown for locks that have been programmed in the system.
     • Note — This column contains additional information on the lock.
     • Count of access rights — This column indicates the number of access rights assigned for the lock.
     • Lock event count — This column indicates the number of events on the lock audit trail.
     • Audit trail pick date — This column indicates the date when an audit trail was last picked from the lock.
     • Time limited — This status column indicates whether the lock is time limited or not.
   • Keys — The Keys tab contains a list of keys that can open the lock. The key columns are described in section Browsing Keys.
   • Access rights — The Access rightstab contains information on the access rights that the lock has. The columns are:
     • Access right — This column contains the name of the access right.
     • Description — This column contains the description of the access right.
     • Status— The traffic light icon in this column indicates if the access right is blocklisted or not. The color codes are:
       • Green — The access right is not blocklisted.
       • Red — The access right is blocklisted.
     • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the access right belongs to.
     • Zone — This column indicates the zone where the access right belongs to.
     • Default access right — The check box in this status column indicates if the access right is the default access right or not.
   • Time limitations — The Time limitationstab contains information on the time limitations that the lock has. The options are:
     • Not time limited — The lock is not time limited.
     • Apply all time profiles on a key — The lock applies all time profiles on a key.
     • Apply selected time profiles on a key — The lock only applies the selected time profiles on a key.
   • The blocklist of the lock — The blocklist of the lock tab contains information on the blocklist of the lock. The columns are described in section Browsing the Blocklist.
   • Persons with access — The Persons with access tab contains information on the persons that have access to the lock. The columns are described in section Browsing Persons.

   • Audit trail events — The Audit trail events tab contains information on the lock audit trail. The columns are:

     • Lock counter — This column contains a unique, cumulative event number.
     • Going date — This column contains the event time stamp.
     • Key — The name of the key related to the audit trail entry.
     • Stamp — The stamp of the key related to the audit trail entry.
     • Person — The person attached to the key related to the audit trail entry.
     • Type — This column contains the event type, such as key access, key access forbidden, programming of a lock, and so on.
     • Error text — This column contains a description of the event. If, for example, the Type of audit trail data is Key access forbidden, this column would contain the reason for preventing the access. The reason can be, for example, invalid key time limit.
     • Error code — The error code related to the audit trail entry.

   • Calendars — The Calendars tab contains information on the lock calendars.

   • History — The History tab contains information on the lock programming history. By clicking the plus sign next to a history row, you can see more detailed history information. For more information, see Browsing Locks.

   • Programming phones — The Programming phones tab contains information on the phones that are selected for programming phones in the case of S50 locks.

3. When done, press the Close button.

There are multiple ways to add locks to iLOQ Locking System. With the Add lock wizard, you can:

• Add a new lock.
• Add a copy of an existing lock.
• Add copies of selected locks.

Furthermore, you can:

• Add locks one by one on the floor plan.
• Import locks from Excel.

This section describes how to add locks to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

    
2. Select Add lock.
   The Add lock wizard is opened.
3. Select Add lock.
4. Define the lock settings as follows:

   • Placement — Placement refers to the location of the lock on the floor plan. If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first placement in a way that it ends with a number, such as A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive placement numbers as follows:

     • A1
     • A2
     • A3
     • ...

   • Approach direction — Approach direction refers to the direction where the lock will be opened from, if the door is equipped with double side lock.

   • Locking target — Locking target provides a more detailed description or name of the room or premises, where the lock will lead to.

     If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first locking target in a way that it ends with a number, such as Apartment A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive locking targets as follows:

     • Apartment A1
     • Apartment A2
     • Apartment A3
     • ...

   • Lock cylinder — Lock cylinder refers to the lock cylinder type. Select the type from the drop-down list, or enter the type manually.

   • Zone — Select the zone for the lock.

   • Lock type — Select whether the Lock type is:

     • D5 normal, the lock is an offline lock.

     • S5, the lock is an S5 lock.

     • S5 Online, the lock is an online S5 lock connected to a network module.

       If the lock type is S5 Online, also select whether or not the system automatically receives audit trail events from the lock, by checking the Save lock audit trails automatically check box.

     • S50 normal, the lock is an online S50 lock.

   • Lock collects audit trail — Select whether the lock collects audit trail or not.

   • Clock installed — Select Clock installed if there is a clock circuit in the lock. If the selected Lock cylinder contains a clock, Clock installed will be automatically selected.

5. Select Next.
6. Enter additional information as necessary.

   The fields are:

   • Door type — Door type refers to the type of door where the lock will be mounted on.
   • Escutcheon — Escutcheon refers to the shield plate that surrounds the keyhole on the door.
   • Lock model — Lock model refers to the model of the lock case.
   • Cylinder extension — Cylinder extension refers to the extension that will be added to the new lock.
   • Door thickness (mm) — Door thickness indicates the thickness of the door where the lock will be mounted on.
   • Lock frame depth (mm) — Depth of lock body (mm) indicates the depth of the lock case.
   • Opening direction — Opening direction indicates the door opening direction.
   • Label — The lock label.
   • Other equipment — Other equipment refers to other equipment related to the lock or the door.
   • Conditional access — This check box indicates whether the lock is connected to a device that controls conditional access.
   • Description of the conditional access — Add a description of the conditional access in this field. You can, for example, describe the device that is controlling the conditional access.
7. Select Next.
8. Select the access rights for the lock.

   The default access right will be automatically added for the lock.

   1. Select the desired access right in the list on the left.
   2. You can manage the selection of access right with the key buttons as follows:
      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.

      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
9. Optional: Select the time profiles:

   • Not time limited — If you select this option, the lock ignores all time profiles on keys. In other words, the keys function 24/7 even if they do have a time profile.

   • Apply all time profiles on a key — If you select this option, the lock applies all time profiles on keys.

   • Apply selected time profiles — If you select this option, the lock only applies the selected time profiles on keys. If the selected time profiles do not match with the key time profiles, the key functions all the time.

     You can manage the selection of time profiles with the arrow buttons as follows:

     • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
     • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
     • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
     • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.

      

     You can view the content of a fixed time profile on the area to the right, by selecting the profile with your mouse. Editable time profile content is not shown, as it may be key-specifically modified.

10. Regardless of your selection, the lock always applies the key validity start and end dates and times.

11. Select Next.
12. Select if you want to create an individual access right or not.

13. Select the number of locks to create.
14. Select Next.
15. Select how to proceed.

    The options are:

    • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the lock in the planning state, and continue planning the locking system without, for example, programming any physical locks.

    • Order locks — Select Order locks if you know that the lock definitions are final, but you want to program the lock later.

    • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks:

      • If you know that the lock definitions are final, and you want to program the lock at once.
      • For locks that have not yet been installed on the premises.

      For more information, see Programming Locks.

    • Order and transfer tasks to programmer — Select Order and transfer tasks to programmer if you are deploying a mounted lock, and you want to program it by disconnecting the Programming Token from the computer, and taking it to the lock to be deployed. You can only do this for one lock at a time.

16. Select Next.
17. A summary screen is shown.
18. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to add a single lock directly onto a floor plan.

1. Select Basic data > Browse floor plans.
   
    
2. Select the desired floor plan.
3. Hover your mouse over the desired door and right-click to select Lock > Add lock (Ctrl+N).
   The Add lock wizard is opened.
4. Select Add lock.
5. Define the lock settings as follows:

   • Placement — Placement refers to the location of the lock on the floor plan. If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first placement in a way that it ends with a number, such as A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive placement numbers as follows:

     • A1
     • A2
     • A3
     • ...

   • Approach direction — Approach direction refers to the direction where the lock will be opened from, if the door is equipped with double side lock.

   • Locking target — Locking target provides a more detailed description or name of the room or premises, where the lock will lead to.

16. Select Order locks.

    Selecting Order locks leaves the locks in the Ordered state. Later, you must program the locks through the lock list.

17. Select Next.
18. A summary screen is shown.
19. Select Ready.
20. A status screen is shown, displaying the lock that is being programmed.
21. Follow the instructions on the programming status screen.
22. Select Close.

This section describes how to add a copy of an existing lock to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Add lock.
2. Select Add copy of existing lock.
3. Select the lock that you want to use as a template for the new lock.
4. Select Next.
5. Define the lock settings as follows:
   • Placement — Placement refers to the location of the lock on the floor plan.

   • Placement — Placement refers to the location of the lock on the floor plan. If you are adding several locks at a time, set the first placement in a way that it ends with a number, such as A1. In this way, the system adds consecutive placement numbers as follows:

     • A1
     • A2
     • A3
     • ...

   • Approach direction — Approach direction refers to the direction where the lock will be opened from, if the door is equipped with double side lock.

   • Locking target — Locking target provides a more detailed description or name of the room or premises, where the lock will lead to.

   The lock will, by default, have the same access rights as the lock that you selected as the template for the new lock.

10. Optional: Select the time profiles:

    • Not time limited — If you select this option, the lock ignores all time profiles on keys. In other words, the keys function 24/7 even if they do have a time profile.

    • Apply all time profiles on a key — If you select this option, the lock applies all time profiles on keys.

    • Apply selected time profiles — If you select this option, the lock only applies the selected time profiles on keys. If the selected time profiles do not match with the key time profiles, the key functions all the time.

      You can manage the selection of time profiles with the arrow buttons as follows:

      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.

This section describes how to add copies of selected locks to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Add lock.
2. Select Add copies of selected locks.
3. Select the locks that you want to use as templates for the new locks.
4. Select Next.
5. Define the lock settings as follows:
   • Extension to be added to placement — Extension to be added to placement refers to the extension that will be added to the new lock placement, to differentiate it from the placement of the template lock.
   • Extension to be added to locking target — Extension to be added to locking target refers to the extension that will be added to the locking target name for the new lock, to differentiate it from the locking target of the template lock.
   • Change lock cylinder type — Check this check box if the lock type of the new lock is different from the template lock. Two new options will be shown:
     • Lock cylinder — Select the lock cylinder type in the drop-down list, or type in the lock type manually.
     • Clock installed — Use this check box to select whether there is a clock installed on the S5 lock or not.
6. Select Next.
7. A summary screen is shown.
8. Select Ready.
9. Select Close.
10. The new locks appear in the lock grid view, with the extension in their name as you defined it.

This section describes how to edit lock access rights and time limitations on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

    
2. Select the desired lock.
3. Right-click to select Edit access rights.
   The Edit access rights wizard is opened.
4. Select Edit access rights of the lock.
5. Select the access right(s) for the lock.
   • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.

    
6. Select Next.
7. Optional: Select the time profiles:

   • Not time limited — If you select this option, the lock ignores all time profiles on keys. In other words, the keys function 24/7 even if they do have a time profile.

   • Apply all time profiles on a key — If you select this option, the lock applies all time profiles on keys.

     You can view the content of a fixed time profile on the area to the right, by selecting the profile with your mouse. Editable time profile content is not shown, as it may be key-specifically modified.

8. Regardless of your selection, the lock always applies the key validity start and end dates and times.

10. Select how to proceed.

    The options are:

    • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and program the locks later.

    • Order locks — Select Order locks for S5 locks, if you want to create the programming task, but execute it later, or program networked locks.

    • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks for S5 locks, if you want to create the programming task, and execute it at once for a single lock at hand.

    • Order and send — Select Order and send for S50 locks, if you want to create the programming tasks and transfer them to default programming phones, and let the phones carry out the programming, when the phone is placed against the lock.

      If you select this option, the lock will enter the Ordered state. This means that the lock programming package has been sent to the default programming phone(s). The lock enters the Issued to programming state when the phone replies to the server that is has received the package. Finally, when the phone has visited the lock and programmed it, the lock enters the Programmed state.

      Note:

      The Browse locks view is not automatically refreshed, but you must press the Refresh button to refresh the view to see the changes in the lock programming state.

    • Order and transfer tasks to programmer — Select Order and transfer tasks to programmer if you want to create the programming tasks, transfer them to the Programming Token, and take the Programming Token with you to program the locks at the site. If you have networked locks, this option will also program them through the network.
