Key Owner Workflow

This section describes what the key owner at the remote site does when re-programming a key.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Insert the key into the Key programming Hot Spot.
  2. The key symbol on the Key programming Hot Spot illuminates orange.
  3. The key symbol on the Key programming Hot Spot turns green.

    If the key symbol on the Key programming Hot Spot:

    • Turns red, the update has failed. Try again.
    • Turns off, there is no update task for the key on the server.
  4. Remove the key from the Key programming Hot Spot.
