Download and install programming key driver for Windows 10 and 11 (CP210x Universal Windows Driver)

Typically, the programming key driver is automatically installed when the programming key is connected to the PC. If this is not the case, follow the instructions below:

1. Connect the programming key to the computer USB port.
2. Download the driver for Windows 10 and 11 (CP210x Universal Windows Driver) from: https://support.iloq.com/en-us/downloads/
3. Save and extract the .zip package to your computer.
   • Open the extracted folder.
   • Select the silabser setup information file shown in the image below.
   • Right-click it, and select install.

Alternative way to install the driver

1. Connect the programming key to the computer USB port.
2. Download the driver for Windows 10 and 11 (CP210x Universal Windows Driver) from: https://support.iloq.com/en-us/downloads/
3. Save and extract the .zip package to your computer.
4. Open the Windows Device manager.
5. Select Other devices>CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller. Note that it may also appear as iLOQ fob. If this is the case, you must select it.
6. Right-click and select Update driver.
7. Select Search the driver from the computer.
8. Click Browse my computer for driver software and the select the folder containing the driver that you downloaded and extracted.
9. Click Next. Wait until Windows installs the driver.
10. Click Close.
11. Return to Windows Device manager and check that Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge is listed in the Ports>(COM & LPT) menu.
12. The driver is now installed and you can use the programming key on your computer.
