Is NFC safe?
NFC, or Near Field Communication, is a technology that allows devices to exchange information simply by placing them close to each other. Common uses include contactless payments and transferring photos and files between devices.
Since NFC connections are made by bringing two devices very close to each other, they’re much more secure than other types of connections. Compared to wi-fi or Bluetooth, NFC works over a much shorter distance, making it difficult to intercept.
Furthermore, to enhance security you must first unlock the screen of your phone and launch the iLOQ App in order to establish an NFC connection between your mobile phone and the lock.
