What happens if the network is down?

iLOQ’s NFC self-powered locks work as usual, they are not affected by network outages as the energy needed for unlocking is harvested from your phone via NFC. However, if your phone’s internet connection is down for over 2 hours your phone key will expire, and it cannot be used until an internet connection is established again.
