Fetching Audit Trails from S5 Locks

This section describes how to fetch audit trails from S5 locks on iLOQ Manager.

There are two ways to fetch audit trails from S5 locks. You can use the Read lock's event log feature on Manager with Internet connection, to read the lock logs directly to iLOQ Cloud. Alternatively, you can load an offline log reading task to the Programming Token, visit the locks with the token to collect the logs, and then upload the collected logs to iLOQ Cloud by connecting the token to the PC with Internet connectivity.

The Programming Token has limited memory, which is shared between lock logs and other offline programming tasks. The amount of lock audit trails that can be fetched to the Programming Token memory depends on how much memory there is free on the token.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Read lock's event log.

  2. Insert the lock programming cable into the lock.
  3. Wait until you get the confirmation on the received reply message to the bottom right-hand corner of Manager.
    Note:

If the Programming Token also has other programming tasks, these will be executed first, before fetching the audit trail.

Now, the Programming Token has received the audit trail from the lock.

  4. Remove the lock programming cable from the lock.
  5. If necessary, repeat this procedure for the next locks.
  6. Select OK.
