This section describes how to detach tokens from users on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

   

2. Select the token that you want to remove from a user, and click the + button on the left side of the row.
   A list of token users is opened.
3. Select the desired user by clicking the left side of the user ID cell in a way that the whole row is selected.
4. Right-click the selected row and select Detach token from person.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.

This section describes how to remove tasks from tokens on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

   

2. Select the token with the tasks that you want to remove.
3. Right-click the selected row and select Remove task from token.
   The Remove task from token wizard is opened.
4. Select Remove task.
5. Check that the correct tokens are selected.
6. Select Next.
7. A confirmation screen is shown.
8. Select Ready.
9. The tasks are removed from the token.
10. A confirmation screen is shown.
11. Select Close.

This section describes how to delete tokens from iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

   

2. Select the tokens that you want to delete.
3. Right-click one of the selected tokens and select Delete.
   The Deleting a token wizard is opened.
4. Select Delete token.
5. Select Next.
6. Ensure that the correct tokens are selected.
7. Select Next.
8. A confirmation screen is shown.
9. Select Ready.
10. Insert the token to be deleted to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
11. Insert the original login token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.

The iLOQ Network Module enables the remote programming of locks and keys through the Internet. By using the iLOQ Network Module, you do not have to travel to the lock connected to a network module, to program the lock.

The figure below depicts the iLOQ Network Module operating principle.

There are four types of network modules:

• Net bridge — Net bridge is connected to a number of door modules. It requests the server for tasks related to the door modules, and the locks connected to the modules. The locks obtain the time from Net bridge.

  Net bridge is part of the iLOQ S10 Online product family.

• Net box — Net box is connected to a number of locks, and it requests the server for tasks related to those locks. The locks obtain the time from Net box.

  Net Box polls the server with one-hour intervals, and checks if any changes have been made to the settings, or if there are any lock programming tasks waiting in the queue. If needed, you can carry out programming immediately by inserting one of the locking system keys in the key programming hot spot; in this case, the network module polls the server immediately.

  It is also possible to configure Net Box in such a way that modifications are sent from the server to the network module immediately. This requires certain measures on the customer network (for example, a firewall protocol).

  Through Net box, you can remotely:

  • Change the access rights of a lock.
  • Fetch the lock audit trail.
  • Blacklist a lost key.
  • Control two relay outputs. You can use the relay outputs to operate relays for various purposes. You can, for example, create schedules for the relay-connected motor locks. In this way, you can allow access without a key to premises during daytime on weekdays, and keep the doors locked at night and on weekends.

• However, it is not possible to accidentally reset locks, or make the initial programming of locks through Net box.

  If a Key programming hotspot is connected to Net box, you can also:

  • Change the access rights of a key.
  • Change the time limitations of a key.
  • Convert an existing key to a replacement key.

• Key scheduler — Key scheduler is a robot that you can use to automatically:

  • Change key end dates within a defined time interval.
  • Increase the access right version number within a defined time interval.

• If a Key programming hotspot is connected to Key scheduler, you can also:

  • Change the access rights of a key.
  • Change the time limitations of a key.
  • Convert an existing key to a replacement key.

• Remote station — Remote station is a convenient way to centrally manage iLOQ S10 Locking System, but distribute the offline lock programming tasks across the field.

  In practice, Remote station is a locked box that contains:

  • Initialised keys that can be taken in use remotely.
  • The Programmer for programming the remote offline locks and, of course, keys.

This section describes how to view network module information on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. The network modules are shown in the grid view.

   The columns are:

   • Description — This column contains the description of the network module.
   • In use — This column indicates whether the network module is in use or not.
   • Type — This column indicates the network module type. Possible types are:
     • Net box
     • Key scheduler
     • Remote station
     • Net Bridge
   • ROM_ID — This column indicates the serial number of the token in the network module. This information is only shown for tokens that have been programmed in the system.
   • Key hotspot — This column indicates whether the network module has a key programming hotspot connected to it or not.
   • License — This column indicates the network module license type available for the selected network module type. Possible types are:
     • Basic
     • Pro
     • Key scheduler
     • Net Bridge
   • Floor plan — This column indicates the floor plan where the network module is located at.
   • Control relay — This column contains the control relay names, if any.
   • Zone — This column indicates the zone where the network module belongs to.
   • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the network module belongs to.

This section describes how to view the properties of network modules on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. The network modules are shown in the grid view. For more information on an individual network module, double-click the network module.

   Network module-specific details are, by tabs:

   • Basic information — The Basic information tab contains the basic information on the selected network module. The columns are described in section Browsing Network Modules.
   • Locks — The Locks tab contains information on the locks connected to the network module. The columns are described in section Browsing Locks.
   • Networked — The Networked tab contains networking information on the selected network module. The fields are:
     • Network module — This field contains the name of the network module.
     • IP and port — This field indicates the network module public IP address and the firewall port.
     • MAC address — This field indicates the network module MAC address.
     • Report date — This field indicates the date and time when the network module last polled the server.
     • Connection date — This field indicates the date and time when the network module was last started up.
     • Programmer version — This field indicates the software version of the internal programmer that is used to control the networked locks.
     • Software version — This field indicates the software version of the network module.
     • Calendar updated — This field indicates the date and time when the calendar data was last fetched from the server.
   • Remote load station queue — The Remote load station queue tab contains information on the task queue on the remote load station. The columns are:
     • Type — This column contains the type of the programming task in the queue.
     • Name — This column contains the name of the key or the placement of the lock.
     • Status — This column contains the programming state of the lock or the key.
     • Target/Person — This column contains the locking target or the name of the person to whom the key is attached.
     • Floorplan — This column contains the floorplan where the target of the task is.
     • Estate — This column contains the estate where the target of the task is.
3. When done, press the Close button.

This section describes how to add a Net Box to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. Select Add network module.
   The Adding a network module wizard is opened.
3. Select Add network module.
4. Enter the basic information for the network module, as follows:
   • Name — Enter a name for the new network module in this field. Use a descriptive name. You can use, for example, a name that reminds you of the network module location.
   • Type — Select the desired network module type in the drop down menu.
   • License — Select the correct license type in the drop down menu.
   • Has key programming hot spot — Select this check box if the network module has a key programming hot spot connected to it.

   Select the Active radio button. You can select the Not in use radio button if you do not have an active license yet, but you want to configure the network module anyway.

5. Select Next.
6. Select Next.
7. Fill in the network module settings as follows:

   • Service address — Service address is the locking system server address. Accept the suggested address.

   • User ID — Select the User ID for the network module in the drop-down menu.

     If there are no users in the User ID drop-down menu, select Add new network module user to add a new user, and follow the wizard.

     Tip:

     Usually one network module user for each locking system is enough, even with several network modules in use.

   • Password — Enter the Password for the network module user, in this field.

8. Select Next.
9. Fill in network module timing settings as follows:

   • Change timing settings — Check the Change timing settings check box if you want to change the audit trail collect interval.

   • Audit trail collect interval — Select the desired audit trail collect interval in this drop-down menu. The options are:

     • No schedule — Select this option to not collect the audit trail automatically.
     • Once in a week — Select this option to collect audit trails weekly.
     • Once in a day — Select this option to collect audit trails daily.
   • Note:

     This applies to network modules with a Pro license only.

10. Select Next.
11. If necessary, fill in the local network settings.
    If the network module is located in a network where IP addresses are obtained from a DHCP server, you do not have to fill in the local network settings. However, if this is not the case, ask the required data from the network administrator.
12. Select Next.
13. If necessary, change the number of the firewall port for receiving messages. Ask the required data from the network administrator.
14. Select Next.
15. Connect a memory stick to the computer USB port.
16. Select the Save file to memory stick radio button, and select the disk drive of the memory stick (for example, J:\). The program adds the file name automatically.
    Alternatively, you can select the Save file to disk radio button to save the file onto your hard disk, in the directory of your choice, and copy it to the memory stick later. If this is the case, remember to paste the file to the root directory of the memory stick (not to a subdirectory).
17. Select Next.
18. A summary screen is shown.
19. Select Ready.
20. Type in the locking system master password.
21. Insert the empty token that you took from the token holder, to the Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
22. Wait until the token is programmed.
23. Insert the login token to the the Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
24. Select Close.
25. Insert the token to the token holder in the network module.
26. Insert the memory stick to the network module USB port.
27. Switch on the network module.
28. Follow the LED sequence:
    1. Green ST2 is illuminated to indicate that the master token is in its place.
    2. An internal test procedure is started. During the procedure, the ST1 blinks orange a couple of times
    3. Check that the ST1 blinks green five times, indicating that it is reading data from the memory stick. If it does not blink green, and turns red, the network module cannot read the memory stick. If this is the case, try to add the network module with another memory stick, or format the memory stick to the FAT32 file system.
    4. Constant green ST1 is illuminated to indicate that the server connection has been successfully tested.
29. The network module reports itself to the server.
30. The network module is now ready for use.
31. Place the network module onto the floor plan.
    The procedure is similar to the process of placing locks onto the floor plan. For more information, see section Placing Locks onto a Floor Plan.

This section describes how to add an N105 Key Scheduler to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. Select Add network module.
   The Adding a network module wizard is opened.
3. Select Add network module.
4. Enter the basic information for the network module, as follows:
   • Name — Enter a name for the new network module in this field. Use a descriptive name. You can use, for example, a name that reminds you of the network module location.
   • Type — Select Key Scheduler in the drop down menu.
   • License — Select Key Scheduler license type. Two new fields become available:
     • Count of reserved bus devices — Define the number of Programming Hot Spot devices you are planning to connect to this Key Scheduler.
     • Count of connected bus devices — This flow field indicates the current number of connected devices. As we are adding a Key Scheduler, the count is 0.
   • Has key programming hot spot — Select this check box if the network module will have at least one Programming Hot Spot connected to it.

   Select the Active radio button. You can select the Not in use radio button if you do not have an active license yet, but you want to configure the network module anyway.

5. Select Next.
6. Select Next.
7. Fill in the network module settings as follows:

   • Service address — Service address is the locking system server address. Accept the suggested address.

   • User ID — Select the User ID for the network module in the drop-down menu.

     If there are no users in the User ID drop-down menu, select Add new network module user to add a new user, and follow the wizard.

     Tip:

     Usually one network module user for each locking system is enough, even with several network modules in use.

   • Password — Enter the Password for the network module user, in this field.

8. Select Next.
9. If necessary, fill in the local network settings.
   If the Key Scheduler is located in a network where IP addresses are obtained from a DHCP server, you do not have to fill in the local network settings. However, if this is not the case, ask the required data from the network administrator.
10. Select Next.
11. If necessary, change the number of the firewall port for receiving messages. Ask the required data from the network administrator.
12. Select Next.
13. Connect a memory stick to the computer USB port.
14. Select the Save file to memory stick radio button, and select the disk drive of the memory stick (for example, J:\). The program adds the file name automatically.
    Alternatively, you can select the Save file to disk radio button to save the file onto your hard disk, in the directory of your choice, and copy it to the memory stick later. If this is the case, remember to paste the file to the root directory of the memory stick (not to a subdirectory).
15. Select Next.
16. A summary screen is shown.
17. Select Ready.
18. Type in the locking system master password.
19. Insert the empty token that you took from the token holder, to the Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
20. Wait until the token is programmed.
21. Insert the login token to the the Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
22. Select Close.
23. Insert the token to the token holder in the Key Scheduler.
24. Insert the memory stick to the Key Scheduler USB port.
25. Switch the  switch to ON.
    1. An internal test procedure is started.
    2. Check that the USB indicator blinks green five times, indicating that it is reading data from the memory stick. It it does not blink green, the Key Scheduler cannot read the memory stick. If this is the case, try to add the Key Scheduler with another memory stick, or format the memory stick to the FAT32 file system.
    3. Constant green FUNC, SYSTEM STATUS and possibly SERVER CONN. are illuminated to indicate that the server connection has been successfully tested.
26. If SERVER CONN. is illuminated green, the Key Scheduler has reported itself to the server.
27. If you:

    • Plan to connect Programming Hot Spots, switch the switch to STANDBY, and see Connecting a Programming Hot Spot.

    • Plan to leave the Key Scheduler in this location, the procedure ends here.

28. Place the network module onto the floor plan.
    The procedure is similar to the process of placing locks onto the floor plan. For more information, see section Placing Locks onto a Floor Plan.

This section describes how to send requests to the network modules on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. Select the desired network modules.
3. Right-click a selected module and select Send to network module.
4. Select the request that you want to send to the network module.
   Depending on the communication settings, not on the license type, the sent requests are queued, or they will be immediately executed.

This section describes how to change the license type of network modules on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

   

2. Select the desired network module.
3. Right-click a selected module and select Change license type for network module.
   The Change of license type wizard is opened.
4. Select Change license type.
5. Select the correct license type in the License drop down menu.
6. Select Next.
7. A summary screen is shown.
8. Select Ready.
9. Select Close.
