Programming S5 Locks through the Programming Key

This section describes how to program S5 locks through the Programming key memory at the site.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Transfer one or more lock programming tasks to the Programming key.
    See Managing Programming Key Content.
  2. You can logout from iLOQ 5 Series Manager, if you want.
  3. Unplug the Programming key from the computer.
  4. Go to the site with the Programming key.
  5. Connect the lock programming cable to the Programming key.
  6. Connect the lock to be programmed to the Programming key by inserting the lock programming cable into the lock.

    Wait until the green status led on the Programming key is illuminated.

  7. Remove the lock programming cable from the lock.
  8. If necessary, repeat steps 6-7 until the desired locks have been programmed.
  9. Connect the Programming key back to the computer.
  10. Login to iLOQ 5 Series Manager.
  11. Soon, a reply message is displayed in the lower right corner of iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

    When the reply message is received, the executed programming tasks are automatically removed from the Programming key memory. Refresh the iLOQ 5 Series Manager lock grid view and see from the Programming status column that the required locks are programmed.
