Installing Drivers Manually

This section describes how to install drivers manually if they are not installed automatically by Windows Update.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Insert the Programming key into a USB port on your computer.
  2. Open a browser window and go to https://support.iloq.com/en/downloads/.
  3. Download the Programming Token (P55S) driver to your computer.
  4. Extract the .zip file onto your computer.
  5. Open Windows Device Manager.
  6. Go to Other devices > Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge.
  7. Right-click Update driver software.
  8. Choose Find the driver software on your computer.
  9. Click Browse and select the driver you just downloaded and extracted.
  10. Click OK.
  11. You can now delete the downloaded .zip file and the folder where you extracted the drivers.
