This section describes how to edit the person role access right selections on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Browse person roles.

   

2. Right-click the person role that you want to edit.
3. Select Edit access rights.
   The Modifying the access right selections of roles wizard is opened.
4. Select Edit access rights.
5. Check that the correct person role is selected in the list.
6. Select Next.
7. Select the access rights.
   • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
   • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
8. Select Next.
9. A summary screen is shown.
10. Select Ready.
11. Select Close.

This section describes how to delete person roles from iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Additional data > Browse person roles.

   

2. Select the person roles you want to delete.
3. Select Edit > Editing mode to enable the editing mode.
4. Right-click one of the selected person roles and select Delete.
   Alternatively, you can press the Del key.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.
7. Select Edit > Editing mode to disable the editing mode.
8. The system asks whether you want to save the changes. Select Yes.

This chapter explains how use the reporting functions on iLOQ Manager.

iLOQ Manager contains several different pre-defined reports on keys, locks, and so on. You can view these reports by right-clicking in the grid view and selecting Print > report.

Report tools are available as follows:

•  — Click this button to switch the sidebar on or off. This sidebar shows a scrollable list of report pages.
• Document settings — Click this menu option to open a settings dialog, where you can change document settings, such as:
  • Paper size
  • Paper source for the printer
  • Paper orientation
  • Paper margins
•  — Click this button to print out the report on your printer.
•  — Click this button to copy the selected text to the clipboard.
•  — Click this button to open a settings dialog, where you can enter a search string and search, for example, key names in the report.
•  — Click this button to zoom out, in the report view.
•  — Click this button to zoom in, in the report view.
•  — Use this drop-down menu to change the report size in percentage, in the report view.
•  — Click this button to adjust the report width to the available screen space. In other words, the report is scaled so as to be as wide as possible in the report view.
•  — Click this button to adjust the report size to the available screen space. In other words, the report is scaled so as to show one entire page in the report view.
•  — Click this button to display the report page by page.
•  — Click this button to display the report as a continuous flow of pages.
•  — Use this drop-down menu to display the report in a multipage view.
•  — Click this button to go to the first report page.
•  — Click this button to go to the previous report page.
•  — This field displays the current page. You can also enter the desired page number in this field, and press Enter to jump to the desired report page.
•  — Click this button to go to the next report page.
•  — Click this button to go to the last report page.
•  — Click this button to cancel the previous action.
•  — Click this button to redo the previously cancelled action.
•  — Click this button to refresh the view.
•  — Click this button to use the pan mode, where you can grab the report and move it around in the screen.
•  — Click this button to use the select mode, where you can select text from the report.
•  — Click this button to use the snapshot mode, where you can select an area from the report, press Ctrl+C to copy the selected area to the clipboard, and press Ctrl+V to paste the snapshot in the application of your choice.

This section describes how to display a summary report on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Show summary.

   

2. A summary of the locking system is shown.

   There are four types of summary reports:

   • Lock access rights — This report describes the relationship between the locks and the access rights.

   • Locks and keys — This report describes the relationship between the keys and the locks, that is, which key opens which lock.

   • Locks and persons — This report describes the relationship between the locks and the persons, that is, which person can open which lock.

   • Key access right definitions — This report describes the relationship between the keys and the access rights.

3. Use the Select visibility drop down menu to select the access right type that you want to show.

This section describes how to print reports on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Additional data > Print reports.

   

2. Select one of the three available reports in the drop-down menu.

   The available reports are:

   • List of keys with hand over date — Select this report to print out a list of keys with information on when the key was handed over and to whom.
   • Keys and access rights per person — Select this report to print out a list of persons and their access rights.
   • Expired keys — Select this report to print out a list of expired keys.
3. The report will be opened on a tab of its own.

To deploy and manage iLOQ Locking System, you will need both, access to the database, and the system-specific Token. Token acts as a physical encryption key.

Tokens are locking system specific. However, it is possible to reset Token and re-use it as Token for another locking system.

Depending on the desired security level, logging in to the locking system may require a user-specific login Token, in addition to a user name and password. However, programming is not possible without Token.

Token can be attached to several users, and one user can have several Tokens. The user's usage rights may vary depending on the login Token in use.

This section describes how to add a token to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Login to iLOQ Manager.
2. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

   

3. Select Add token.
   The Adding a Token wizard is opened.
4. Select Add token.
5. Name the token.
   Tip:

   You can name the tokens according to their color. In this way, it is easy to select the correct token for using the system.

6. Select Active.
7. Select Next.
8. A summary screen is shown.
9. Select Ready.
10. Enter the master password of the locking system.
11. Select OK.
12. Insert an empty token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
13. Insert the original login token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
14. A summary screen is shown.
15. Select OK.
    The token appears in the token list.

This section describes how to add additional tokens to iLOQ Locking System, and how to attach them to users.

1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

   

2. Select Add token.
   The Adding a Token wizard is opened.
3. Select Add token and attach it to user.
4. Name the token.
   Tip:

   You can name the tokens according to their color. In this way, it is easy to select the correct token for using the system.

5. Select Master token.
6. Select Active.
7. Select Next.
8. Select the desired user.
9. Select Next.
10. Select the usage rights for the user.

    You can manage the selection of usage rights with the arrow buttons as follows:

    • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
11. Select Next.
12. A summary screen is shown.
13. Select Ready.
14. Enter the master password of the locking system.
15. Select OK.
16. Insert the empty token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
17. Insert the original login token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
18. A summary screen is shown.
19. Select Close.
20. Select OK.
    The token appears in the token list.

This section describes how to add a formatting task to a token on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Format state.
   The Adding formatting task to a master token wizard is opened.
2. Select Add formatting task.
3. Select the token where you want to add the formatting task.
4. Select Next.
5. A summary screen is shown.
6. Select Ready.
7. Type in the locking system master password.
8. Select OK.
   The formatting task is added on the token.
9. A summary screen is shown.
10. Select Close.
