The phone key or any other features of the iLOQ App will not work if your phone’s battery is dead. Charge your phone to use the features of the iLOQ App.
Wi-fi or any other type of internet connection is not needed to unlock doors. However, if your phone’s internet connection is down for over 2 hours your phone key will expire, and it cannot be used until an internet connection is established again.
If your key needs to be refreshed, including Expired is shown. Tap the refresh iconto refresh your phone key. If the problem persists, contact your key administrator.

The phone and lock are not paired. The lock communicates via NFC with your phone, and checks your credentials. If you have credentials to the lock, it will be unlocked.
This is because there are various kinds of doors and locks. Some doors are equipped with a knob or a handle in addition to the iLOQ reader knob, and some are not.
All of the features work on all NFC-enabled phone models that are compatible with the iLOQ App. The iLOQ App works on iPhones running iOS 16 or newer, and on Android phones running Android 9 or newer.
