This section describes how to edit Key switch relay settings on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

2. Right-click the Key switch to select Edit key switch relay settings.

   The Editing of key switch relay settings wizard is opened.

3. Select Edit Key Switch relay settings.
4. Select Next.
5. Select the relay configuration from the Select relay configuration and type relay data drop down menu.

   For more information, see Relay Configurations.

6. Select the relay mode in the <Select relay mode> drop down menu.

   See Relay Modes.

7. Select Next.
8. Select how to proceed.

   The options are:

   • Leave locks in planning state — Select Leave locks in planning state if you want to leave the locks in the planning state, and program the locks later.

   • Order locks — Select Order locks if you want to create the programming task, but execute it later, or program networked locks.

   • Order and program locks — Select Order and program locks if you want to create the programming task, and execute it at once for a single lock at hand.

   • Order and transfer tasks to programmer — Select Order and transfer tasks to programmer if you want to create the programming tasks, transfer them to the Programmer, and take the Programmer with you to program the locks at the site. If you have networked locks, this option will also program them through the network.

9. Select Next.
10. Select Ready.
11. Select Close.

Locks can be hidden on iLOQ Manager. You can hide a lock that is no longer in use and, thus, cannot be reset. The lock will disappear from the lock grid view, from reports, and so on. The lock can be, for example, lost.

This section describes how to hide locks on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

2. Select the locks you want to hide.
3. Select Edit > Editing mode to enable the editing mode.
4. Right-click one of the selected locks and select Hide lock from list.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.
7. Select Edit > Editing mode to disable the editing mode.
8. The system asks whether you want to save the changes. Select Yes.

This section describes how to view hidden locks on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

2. Right-click the grid view and select Show > Show only hidden.
3. To return to the original view, select Show > Show only hidden again.

This section describes how to delete locks from iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

   

2. Select the locks you want to delete.
3. Select Edit > Editing mode to enable the editing mode.
4. Right-click one of the selected locks and select Delete.
   Alternatively, you can press the Del key.
5. A confirmation screen is shown.
6. Select Yes.
7. Select Edit > Editing mode to disable the editing mode.
8. The system asks whether you want to save the changes. Select Yes.

This section describes how to view key information on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

   

2. The keys are shown in the grid view.

   The columns are:

   • The name of the key — This column contains the name of the key.
   • Label — This column contains the label of the physical key.
   • The name of the person — This column contains the name of the person to whom the key is assigned.
   • Company/Department — This column contains the company or department information of the person to whom the key is attached.
   • Date of hand over — This column contains the date when the key was handed over to the person.
   • Programming state — This column contains the programming state of the key. Possible values are:
     • Programmed — The key has been programmed and the physical key has the same data as shown in iLOQ Manager. This is the desired state for the keys in the system.
     • Ordered — The key has been ordered. A key programming task has been created for the key. It is either a task for initial programming of a new physical key, or a re-programming task for an existing key. However, the key programming is pending.
     • Transferred to programming — A key programming task has been transferred to the Programmer.
     • Issued to programming — The Net Bridge or iLOQ Manager has fetched the programming task from the server, but they have not yet replied that the task has been programmed.
     • In planning — Some changes for an existing key has been done, or a new key has been added, but not yet created as a programming task (that is, ordered).
   • Programming incomplete — This status column indicates whether the key programming is incomplete or complete.
   • On the blacklist — This status column indicates whether the key has been blacklisted or not.
   • Time limited — This status column indicates whether the key is time limited or not.
   • Version number — This status column indicates whether the key has a versional access right or not, and its version number.
   • Expired — This status column indicates whether the planned return date for the key has passed or not.
   • Last edited — This status column indicates when the key programming state was last changed.
   • Editor — This column indicates the user that has last changed the key programming state.
   • Count of access rights — This column indicates the number of access rights assigned for the key.
   • Expiration date — This column indicates the planned return date for the key.
   • Start date — This column indicates the date as of which a time-limited key is valid.
   • Key is valid to — This column indicates the last date when a time-limited key is valid.
   • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the key belongs to.
   • Device ID — This column indicates the serial number of the physical key. This information is only shown for keys that have been programmed in the system.
   • RFID tag number — This column indicates the RFID tag UID number, if the key has one.
   • PIN code has been set — This column indicates if a PIN code for the key has been set or not.
   • S10 Online key — This column indicates if the key is an S10 Online RFID key.
   • Footnotes — This column contains additional information on the key.

This section describes how to view the properties of keys on iLOQ Manager.

1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

   

2. The keys are shown in the grid view. For more information on an individual key, double-click the key to open key-specific details.
   Note:

   You can view object data in two ways:

   • Show sought-after situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it will be, when all pending changes have been programmed for the object.
   • Show the effective situation — Select this radio button to view object data as it currently is.

   Key-specific details are, by tabs:

   • Basic information — The Basic information tab contains the basic information on the selected key. The columns are:
     • The name of the key — This column contains the name of the key.
     • The name of the person — This column contains the name of the person the key is attached to.
     • Date of hand over — This column contains the date when the key was handed over to the person.
     • Programming state — This column contains the programming state of the key. Possible values are:
       • Programmed — The key has been programmed and the physical key has the same data as shown in iLOQ Manager. This is the desired state for the keys in the system.
       • Ordered — The key has been ordered. A key programming task has been created for the key. It is either a task for initial programming of a new physical key, or a re-programming task for an existing key. However, the key programming is pending.
       • Transferred to programming — A key programming task has been transferred to the Programmer.

     • Hidden — This column indicates whether the key is hidden or not.
     • Access right with version — If the key has a versional access right, this column contains the name of the versional access right.
     • Version number — This column indicates the version number, if the key has a versional access right.
     • Time limited — This status column indicates whether the key is time limited or not.
     • Start date — This column indicates the date as of which a time-limited key is valid.
     • Key is valid to — This column indicates the last date when a time-limited key is valid.
     • RFID tag number — This column indicates the RFID tag UID number, if the key has one.
     • Footnotes — This column contains additional information on the key.
     • Company/Department — This column contains the company or department information of the person to whom the key is attached.
     • Access with PIN code — This column indicates the kind of access the key has to a lock that requires a PIN code.
     • PIN code has been set — This column indicates if a PIN code for the key has been set or not.
     • S10 Online ID — This column indicates the internal RFID number of the S10 Online system.
     • Postpone date — This column indicates the starting date for key change availability at the Key Programming Hot Spot.
     • Replaced — This column indicates if this key has been replaced by another key or not.
     • Name of replaced key — This column indicates the key that has been replaced by this key.
     • Replacement key — This column indicates if this key is replacing another key or not.
     • S10 Online key — This column indicates the type of S10 Online key.
   • Access to locks — The Access to locks tab contains information on the locks which the key has access to. The columns are described in section Browsing Locks.
   • Access rights — The Access rights tab contains information on the access rights that the key has. The columns are:
     • Access right — This column contains the name of the access right.
     • Description — This column contains the description of the access right.
     • Conditional access — The check box in this status column indicates whether the access right has conditional access or not.
     • Status — The traffic light icon in this column indicates if the access right is blacklisted or not. The color codes are:
       • Green — The access right is not blacklisted.
       • Red — The access right is blacklisted.
     • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the access right belongs to.
     • Zone — This column indicates the zone where the access right belongs to.
     • Default access right — The check box in this status column indicates if the access right is the default access right or not.
     • Version number — This column contains the version number, if the access right is versional.
     • Version status — This column indicates if the key has up-to-date information on the access right version. The version status may be outdated, for example, if you have added a key that has a higher version number.
   • Person attached to the key — The Person attached to the key tab contains information on the person that is attached to the key. The columns are described in section Browsing Persons.
   • Timelimit — The Timelimit tab contains information on the key time limits. Time limits are described in section Adding a New Key.
   • History — The History tab contains information on the key history. By clicking the plus sign next to a history row, you can see more detailed history information. You can see:
     • The history of key programmings
     • The history of key hand over changes
     • If this key replaces another key, the name of the replaced key

   • Documents — The Documents tab contains key hand over and/or key returning documents, if digitally signed.
3. When done, press the Close button.

This section describes how to add keys to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

   

2. Select Add key.
   The Add key wizard is opened.
3. Select Add key.
4. Name the key in the The name / description of the key field.
   Tip:

   Use, for example, "Master key" or "Employee".

5. If necessary, enter the planned return date in the Planned return date field.
6. Select Next.
7. If necessary, select the person whom the key will be handed over to.
   Tip:

   If the desired person does not exist on the person list, you can add a new person by right-clicking to select Add new person.

8. Select Next.
9. Select the access right(s) for the key.
   1. Select the desired access right in the list on the left. Select, for example, "Master access right" for the "Master key".
   2. You can manage the selection of access rights with the arrow buttons as follows:
      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
10. If necessary, set the key as time-limited by selecting Define time limitations.

    You can define two different time limits as follows:

    • Start date or Week Calendar for the first time limitation.
    • Key is valid to or Week Calendar for the second time limitation.

    Note:

    When you define the time limits, you define the times when the key is enabled.

    The options are:

    • Not in use — If you select this radio button, the key is not time-limited. The key is always enabled.

    • Start date — If you select this radio button, the key is time-limited on locks that have time-limit 1 enabled. The key is enabled as of the date and time you define in the date and time fields.

    • Week Calendar — If you select this radio button, the key is time-limited on locks that have time-limit 1 enabled. The key is enabled on the weekly times you define in the calendar.

    • Key is valid to — If you select this radio button, the key is time-limited on locks that have time-limit 2 enabled. The key is enabled until the date and time you define in the date and time fields.

    • Week Calendar — If you select this radio button, the key is time-limited on locks that have time-limit 2 enabled. The key is enabled on the weekly times you define in the calendar.

      

    Tip:

    If you want to define an overnight time limit, such as from Monday 6 p.m to Tuesday 7 a.m, set the start time in the beginning time field, and the end time in the ending time field. If the start time is later than the end time, the system automatically allows for the day change at midnight.

    

    Tip:

    You can see a calendar preview on the defined limits by clicking the Preview button.

11. Select Next.
12. Select the number of keys to be created.
13. Select Next.
14. Select how to proceed.

    The options are:

    • Leave key in planning state — Select Leave keys in planning state if you want to leave the key in the planning state, and continue planning the locking system without, for example, programming any physical keys.
    • Order key — Keys must be ordered, before they can be programmed. Ordering creates a programming task for the key, for later programming. For more information, see Keys and Ordering Keys.
    • Order and program key — Select Order and program key to order a programming task, and to program the key at once. For more information, see Programming Keys.
    • Order, program and hand over key — Select Order, program and hand over key to order a programming task, and to program the key, and to hand over the key to a person, at once.
15. Select Next.
16. A summary screen is shown.
17. Select optionally whether you want to print out a key hand over document.
18. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.

This section describes how to add a copy of an existing key to iLOQ Locking System.

1. Select Basic data > Browse keys.

   

2. Select Add key.
   The Add key wizard is opened.
3. Select Add copy of existing key.
4. Select the key that you want to use as a template for the new key.
5. Select Next.
6. Name the key in the The name / description of the key field.
7. Enter the planned return date in the Planned return date field.
8. Select Next.
9. If necessary, select the person to whom the key will be handed over.
10. Select Next.
11. Select the access rights for the key.
    1. Select the desired access right in the list on the left. Select, for example, "Master access right" for the "Master key".
    2. You can manage the selection of access rights with the arrow buttons as follows:
       • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
       • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
       • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
       • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
12. If necessary, set the key as time-limited by selecting Define time limitations.

    You can define two different time limits as follows:

    • Start date or Week Calendar for the first time limitation.
    • Key is valid to or Week Calendar for the second time limitation.
