11.Removing keys>>

Keys can be added from the key browsing view through "Basic data" > "Browse keys" and clicking "Add keys". The keys do not need to be bound to a physical key right away but can be created first and programmed later. S50 Phone keys can be sent to a phone immediately after creation. S5 keys and S50 key fobs need to be programmed before use.

Ordering a key means sending the key’s information to iLOQ Cloud servers and preparing it for programming within Manager. 

The first programming requires both Manager and a programming key, but later, the keys can be programmed using only the programming key and the fobs can be programmed using FobApp on a mobile phone. For a comprehensive guide to programming, check here.

The easiest and the most secure way to remove keys is to empty them and remove them from the Manager. To remove keys, access the "Browse keys" view, right click the key you want to remove, and click "Return and empty key." You can also remove S50 Phone keys from the system this way but note that the blocking of the phone key will not take effect until the phone is online or the locks have received the information through a phone key or a key fob that has the updated blocklist.

If the key or the key fob is unavailable and needs to be removed, like when it is lost or stolen, it can be put on a blocklist. A blocklisted key cannot be used in the doors where the blocklist has been updated. Blocklists are shared between a phone and a key when the key is used to open the lock, so a key with an updated blocklist needs to be used in every lock that needs the updated list. Note that the blocklist is limited to 500 keys per zone.

Reading the logs from S5 keys and S50 key fobs requires either a programming key or a programming adapter. S50 phone keys send their logs automatically up to iLOQ cloud servers. You can see the logs of a lock in Manager by selecting "Basic info" > "Browse locks." Then, right-click the lock and select "Send to lock" > "Audit trail pickup request." You can also use this feature on Online locks to get logs that are opened with S5 keys or key fobs that do not send their logs automatically. 

Logs from offline locks need to be collected with a programming key. The logs can then be uploaded to iLOQ Cloud by connecting the key to a PC with an internet connection.

Logs are available under "Administration" > "Browse lock logs." Double-click a lock to browse its logs. If you want to see several locks’ logs at the same time, apply the filters you want from the sidebar and click "Get lock events." 

iLOQ 5 Series manager also offers all kinds of information on keys, locks, and other parts of the locking system. This information can be viewed in a report form by opening the view you want a report from, right-clicking the grid view and selecting "Print" > "Print to Preview." There are plenty of tools at your disposal, so check the full manual if you need help figuring out what each of them does.

Time profiles are used to limit the usage of a key on week level so that the key only works on certain days or times of the week. There are two types of time profiles.
          - Fixed time profiles are given to a group of keys with the same, non-editable time restrictions so that they can be added to every key that needs one without the hassle of programming every key on their own.
          - Editable time profiles have the default time profiles added, but also offer the possibility to add additional times to single keys. For example, server room access might be available to anyone with the time profile between 8-16 on weekends, but the administrator needs access between 8-22 every day, so the time profile can be edited separately for the administrator to allow it.

Add a new time profile by selecting "Additional data" > "Browse time profiles" > "Add time profile." You can name the time profile, add a description, define whether the time profile is fixed or editable, and define the times when the key CAN be used.

After adding an online module to Manager, the calendar control needs to be activated through "Administration" > "Browse Online modules." Choose the module by right-clicking the desired module and clicking "Edit relay settings." Then, choose the tab "Relays" and check "Calendar controllable." After this, you can edit calendar controls by selecting "Additional information" > "Calendar-controlled doors."
