The main user in each flat can allocate flat keys to sub-users, typically people living in the same home. Sub-users have the same usage rights as the main user, but they cannot order new keys or block keys.
6.1 Adding sub-users
To allocate keys to sub-users:
- In the Home view, press the left side bar in the top left corner (see picture below).
- Select App users.
- Press Add user.
- Add the details of the new user.
- Select an available key from the key(s) list.
Note: it is easier to select keys from the list if you have named them in advance (see 5.1 Name your keys). - Press Save.
It is crucial to provide the correct phone number in international format and email address because the added sub-user will receive the registration SMS (to download and install the app) and an email for verifying the app to these contact details.
6.2 Managing sub-users and their keys
All sub-users and the keys allocated to them are listed in App users. One sub-user can have multiple keys, and they can be sub-users of multiple flats. By clicking a sub-user’s name, you can see the keys and remove keys from the sub-user.
To remove a key from a sub-user:
- Press the sub-user’s name.
- Press the red circle (-) icon(s) on the Keys list.
- If you are sure, press OK.
To delete a sub-user, select the user’s name and press Delete user. Sub-user’s keys can be deleted until you are deleting the last key which requires deleting the sub-user entirely.
