You can make, edit, and remove reservations for your residential building’s common spaces and services through the iLOQ HOME app. Reservations are flat-specific, not user-specific, meaning that all users in the same flat can see the same reservations. All reservable spaces and services with reservable times are listed in the Reservations tab. The time slots are set in the locking system by the building manager or locking system administrator.
The reservation may require updating your key depending on the reserved space or service. The request to update the key is displayed under the reservation information. Check before the reservation when the key update is available. Check chapter 5.4 for information on how to update keys.
If the access code is displayed under the reservation information, the key does not need to be updated and you can use the code with the iLOQ door reader.
Note: Use the access code given under the reservation, not the flat-based Access code in the main view.
8.1 Making reservations
To make a reservation, follow these steps:
- Go to the Reservations tab.
- Select from the list the space you want to make the reservation for. Information about the facility is shown.
Read also How to use… space. This information will tell you if your iLOQ S5 key needs to be updated. - Press Reserve.
- Select a time slot. The date and the length of the reservation can be changed by pressing the calendar and clock symbols above.
- The default choice for the repeated reservation is Once. If needed, press the repeat symbol to change the reservation to repeat every week.
- Select Add to my calendar if you want to add the reservation to your phone’s calendar.
- Press Save.
The reservation is displayed on the My reservations and on the Home view.
8.2 View and access your reservations
You can see your reservations in the Home view and under Reservations > My reservations.
Under your reservation(s), you can see if access to the space requires you to update your key or if you can use a reservation-specific access code. In other words, if the space is equipped with an iLOQ door reader, you can use the access code provided under the reservation information.
If the space requires you to update your key, you can hold the key against the iLOQ door reader, for example at the main entrance door, or you can update it using your phone and the iLOQ HOME app. See instructions in chapter 5.4 Update key.
8.3 Remove your reservations
- Press the Reservations tab.
- Press My reservations.
- Select the reservation you want to remove.
- Press Remove.
Note! If there is no remove button visible, the reservation cannot be removed.
