Preparing Locks and Token for Remote Management

This section describes how to prepare locks and Token for remote management through Hot Spot.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Prepare the Programmer for the remote site as follows:
    1. Add a Token without attaching it to a user. However, name it, for example, according to the remote site location.

      See Adding Tokens.

    2. Hand out a Programmer and the Token to be stored at the remote site.
  2. Set the default remote station for the locks as follows:
    1. Select Administration > Browse network modules.

    2. Select the Net Bridge that you want to set as the default remote station for the locks.
    3. Right-click to select Set remote station for locks.
    4. The Editing of remote stations wizard is opened.
    5. Select Next.
    6. Select the locks that you want to assign under the Hot Spots connected to this Net Bridge.
      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.

    7. Follow the wizard to end the procedure.
