Bus Addresses and Termination

Each device connected to the main bus must have its own, unique bus address. Net Bridge only has one main bus, even if it is branched. Net Bridge automatically distributes bus addresses. If you have a device that has manual address dip switches, you can ignore them.

Terminate the last device on the bus or on the branch if the bus does not continue to the next device, by setting the TERMINATION dip to the ON position. If there are several branches on the bus, terminate the last device on each branch.
