Editing the System Default Key Expiry Interval

This section describes how to edit the system default key expiry interval on iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

If in use, the system default key expiry interval is proposed for all new Phone keys and Key fobs. The default expiration time can be overridden by defining key-specific expiration settings.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Define the Key fob expiration time / Phone key expiration time.

    The options are:

    • Key expiry interval — The options are:

      • In use — Is Key expiry interval in use or not.

      • days / hours / minutes — Define the default key expiry interval in days, hours and minutes. This is how long the key will work offline, unless a key-specific key expiry interval is defined.

  4. Select Save and close.
