Editing User Security Settings

This section describes how to edit the locking system settings on iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Edit locking system information.

  2. Select User security in the Views area.
  3. The user security settings screen is opened. The settings are:

    • Password minimum length — Define the minimum length for the password.

    • Enforce password history policy — Define the number of previous passwords that cannot be re-used as a new password.

    • Password expires in days — Define the default validity period for passwords.

    • Allow the user to save credentials — If this check box is checked, users can save their credentials by selecting Remember User ID and Password on the login screen.

      If this check box is unchecked, the Remember User ID and Password is not visible on the login screen.

  4. Select Save and close.
