Adding a New Lock onto the Floor Plan

This section describes how to add a single lock directly onto a floor plan.

Tip:

To add several locks at a time, see Adding S5 Locks.

Note:

You do not necessarily need the actual physical locks to add locks in iLOQ Locking System. You can define the locks and attach them to the physical locks at a later phase.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Browse floor plans.
  2. Select the desired floor plan.
  3. Hover your mouse over the desired door and right-click to select Lock > Add lock (Ctrl+N).
    The Add lock wizard is opened.
  4. Select Add lock.
  5. Depending on the lock type that you are adding, select one of the instructions below to proceed:
