There are three ways to open a door with an iLOQ NFC reader:

• Key only
• Key + PIN code
• PIN code only

The following can be used as keys to open a door equipped with an iLOQ NFC reader:

• an iLOQ S5 digital key
• an iLOQ S50 key fob
• an NFC-enabled mobile phone (with the iLOQ S50 mobile app for iOS and Android)
• RFID tags
• a PIN code

To open a door:

• Place your key on the key reader, or
• Place your key on the key reader and type the PIN code and press #, or
• Type the PIN code and press #

 The access indicator turns orange (the reader is communicating with the key).

 The access indicator turns green, and you hear a beep (the lock is opened).

 If the access indicator turns red after orange, you do not have access rights.
