General information about the effect of using iLOQ system in different time zones.
The administrator of the system has to understand, that the time limitations works according to the time zone defined in the locking system settings. If the administrator (User) defines time limitations when physically in a different time zone, he has to manually calculate the difference to the working hours of that limitation.
Example – Global demo
Time zone setting: UTC +1
User located in Finland: UTC +2
Key end date is set to “today” at 13:00
Looking the limitation from a pc located in Finland: End date is “today” at 13:00, BUT the audit trail shows Key access at 13:03, 13:15,…
Looking the limitation from a pc located in Sweden: End date is “today” at 13:00, BUT the audit trail shows Key access at 12:03, 12:15,…
As a further remark, be careful to edit the time zone of a big system, date in every lock has to be updated after that.
