Access points

Access points represent locks that grant or deny access to an area, such as a site or an apartment. An access point could also be found on objects such as medical supply storage cabinets, drawers or lockers. Typically, an access point represents one lock, and each lock must have a corresponding access point in the customer system.

Note: You do not necessarily need the physical access points (locks) at hand when adding access points to a customer system. You can first define the access point settings and save them as drafts, and program them at a later phase.

Note: When you connect an empty lock in factory state to your PC, iLOQ Manager+ will notice if there is a firmware update available on the server. If this is the case, the firmware of the lock will be automatically fetched and updated.

Please note that iLOQ does not manage its customers' iLOQ locking systems.

If you need a new key (digital or phone key), have lost your key, or want to check the access rights of your key, please contact the administrator of the locking system (Property manager / Maintenance company / iLOQ Retailer).
