Delete programming key

If a programming key needs to be removed from your customer system, it can be deleted. After a programming key has been deleted, it can be used in another customer system.

Note: Before deleting a programming key, all administrators attached to it must be detached.

Select Programming keys > Manage programming keys

Step 1/3: Programming key

  1. Select next to the programming key you want to delete.
  2. Select Delete from the context menu.
  3. Select Next.

Step 2/3: Change summary

  1. The summary shows the actions that you decided to perform in the previous steps. Review the change summary and select Confirm.

Step 3/3: Feedback

  1. Connect your programming key to your PC.
  2. Place the programming key that you are deleting on the programming key connected to your PC.
  3. In this final step, the actions you confirmed in the previous step will be performed. You can follow the actions and their progress on the screen.
  4. Select Show change summary to view an overview of the performed actions.
  5. When you’re done select Close.
