Unblock a key fob
Unblock a user’s key fob. When a key fob is unblocked it can be used to access locks again. Note that it may take some time for information about the unblocked key fob to reach all necessary locks.
- Select Blocked keys.
- Right-click the key fob you want to unblock.
- Select Unblock key, and confirm.
When a key fob is unblocked, the updated blocklist must be distributed to all locks the key fob has access to. This is done through the D2D (device-to-device) network as other users access the locks with their keys. Only once the updated blocklist has been updated to all the relevant locks the key fob is effectively unblocked.
It’s important to note that the blocklist update may not reach every lock during normal everyday key usage. For example, if a lock is located in a remote area, the blocklist update may not be delivered to it unless an administrator specifically visits the lock to perform the update.
