Audit trails
Audit trails are events for each lock showing the date and time of each event such as unlocking events and failed unlocking events. Audit trails can be used to track unauthorized entry attempts, and they help solve instances of misuse by showing exactly who has accessed the premises and when.
Phone keys that have a network connection send a single audit trail event to the server every time a lock is unlocked. However, as there can also be offline unlocking events by key fobs, you can request that the entire audit trail be fetched from the lock with the Request audit trails function. This function fetches all audit trails, including the offline unlocking events, from the lock. Audit trails from relay locks controlled by online devices are sent automatically to server.
Note that the Collects audit trail feature must be enabled for the lock to collect audit trails. This feature is on by default for all locks, and it can be edited via Locking devices > Manage devices.
