Edit premises

Edit an existing premises structure. The editing options include adding, deleting, disconnecting or renaming premises, as well as editing the names and premise type icons.

Note that edits to the premises structure should be made with caution, especially when access points or keys have been programmed. For example, when adding new premises to an existing structure, note that rights to these premises must be granted to administrator roles that need to be able to administrate them and to user roles that need to be able to access them.

Select Premises > Manage Premises

Step 1/3: Structure

  1. Edit the structure based on your needs. You can, for example, right-click the canvas to add new premises or right-click existing premises to delete, disconnect or rename them.
  2. Select Next.

Step 2/3: Change summary

  1. The summary shows the actions that you decided to perform in the previous steps. Review the summary and select Confirm.

Note: If necessary, you will be asked to select the administrator roles that are allowed to view the premises that are being added. Select a role by checking the box next to it.

Step 3/3: Feedback

  1. In this final step, the actions you confirmed in the previous step will be performed. You can follow the actions and their progress on the screen.
  2. Select Show summary to view an overview of the performed actions.
  3. When you’re done select Close.
