Create premises structure
Create a premises structure for your customer system. A premises structure is a prerequisite for adding other items, such as access points or keys to your customer system.
Select Premises > Create premises
Step 1/4: Premises types
- Customize the premises types to fit your customer system. The premises type icons represent different types of premises, making it easier to visualize the structure.
- Select Next.
Step 2/4: Structure:
Note: Use the Add multiple premises function to create several premises of the same type, such as apartments.
- Create a premises structure by adding premises to the canvas and drawing relations between them
- Right-click the canvas to add premises. Select icons for the premises, and name them. Add the number of premises you need.
- Add relations between the premises. When hovering on premises the gray border becomes visible, and you can drag-and-drop an arrow from premises to other premises to make visualizing the structure easier.
Note: If you plan on using iLOQ Web when administrating your customer system, the arrows must be drawn in order for the premises structure to be shown correctly in iLOQ Web.
- Select Next.
Step 3/4: Summary
- The summary shows the actions that you decided to perform in the previous steps. Review the summary and confirm by selecting Create.
Step 4/4: Feedback
- In this final step, the actions you confirmed in the previous step will be performed. You can follow the actions and their progress on the screen.
- Select Show summary to view an overview of the contents of the premises structure.
- When you’re done select Close.
