This section describes how to block a key on iLOQ Manager. This function is used to prevent a key from accessing the locks.
To block a Phone Key from accessing the locks, it is usually sufficient enough to empty and return the key. See Returning and Emptying a Phone Key. Only in cases when this function cannot be completed, it may be necessary to block the Phone Key with the blocking function. The administrator also has the possibility to use offline expiration time to control the key validity. See Key Offline Expiration Time.
Adding a key to the blocked list is a possible without the Programming Token, but removing keys from the blocked list always requires the Programming Token, for security purposes.
