Dealing with Re-scaled Floor Plans

This section describes how to re-scale the lock topology, to match with a replaced floor plan that is of a different size than the original floor plan.

When you replace a floor plan with another floor plan of a different size, the locks will not be automatically placed to the corresponding places on the new floor plan, although their relation to each other remains the same. However, you can re-scale the lock topology, to match with the new floor plan.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Floor plans.

  2. Select the new floor plan.
  3. Click the Move all locks according to reference moves button.

  4. Select a lock close to the top right-hand corner of the floor plan and drag it to its correct position on the floor plan.
  5. Select a lock close to the bottom left-hand corner of the floor plan and drag it to its correct position on the floor plan.
  6. The other locks are automatically re-positioned to their correct positions.
