Program devices

After a new device (lock, network module or online module) has been added to a customer system as a draft, it must be programmed before it can be taken into use. Similarly, when an existing device is edited, it must be reprogrammed for the changes to take effect.

Select Locking devices > Program devices

Step 1/4: Devices

1. Select the devices you want to program.
2. Select Next.

Step 2/4: Action

3. Select the programming action. Depending the device and its status, one or more of following programming options are available:
   • Program devices (OTA): Prepare and program devices over the air.
   • Program devices: Prepare and program devices with programming key.
   • Transfer to programming key: Prepare and transfer device programming tasks to programming key.
4. Select Next.

Step 3/4: Summary

5. The summary shows the actions that you decided to perform in the previous steps. Review the summary and select Confirm.

Step 4/4: Feedback

6. In this final step, the actions you confirmed in the previous step will be performed. You can follow the actions and their progress on the screen.
7. Connect your programming key to the USB port of your PC.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions until all the actions are performed.
9. Select Show summary to view an overview of the performed actions.
10. When you’re done select Close.
