Clear online module (N501/N501.1)

  1. Select Locking devices > Online devices.
  2. On the Online devices list, right-click the online module you want to clear, and select Mark for clearing.

The online module has now been marked for clearing. To finalize the clearing, select Locking > Program devices, and follow the steps below.

Note: N501/N501.1 online modules cannot be cleared over-the-air. They must be cleared by transferring the clearing package to a programming key and visiting the installation site.

Step 1/4: Devices

  1. Select the online modules you want to clear.
  2. Select Next.

Step 2/4: Action

  1. Select Transfer to programming key.
  2. Select Next.

Step 3/4: Summary

  1. The summary shows the actions that you decided to perform in the previous steps. Review the summary and select Confirm.

Step 4/4: Feedback

  1. In this final step, the actions you confirmed in the previous step will be performed. You can follow the actions and their progress on the screen.
  2. Connect your programming key to the USB port of your PC.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions until the programming package is transferred to the programming key.
  4. Select Show summary to view an overview of the performed actions.
  5. When you’re done select Close.
  6. Disconnect your programming key from the USB cable.

Your programming key is now ready to be used to clear the online module. N501/N501.1 online modules are cleared via a reader that is connected to the online module.

  1. Place your programming key against the connected reader.
