Locks

Locks can be either iLOQ S50 locks or relay locks controlled via online modules (N501/N501.1 or N502). Locks grant or deny access to an area, such as a site or an apartment. A lock could also be found on objects such as medical supply storage cabinets, drawers or lockers.

Locks list

On the Locks list, which can be accessed from the main menu by selecting Locking devices, the following information is available at a glance:

  • Placement code (optional): Refers to the location of the lock. Use descriptive and unique names. For example, codes marked on floorplans can be used here.
  • Name: A descriptive name of the lock.
  • Premises: The premises where the lock is located.
  • Type: The lock type. For example, S50.
  • Product code: The product code of the lock.
  • Serial number: The unique serial number of the lock.
  • Status: The status of the lock. For example, draft, programmed, programming prepared or changes planned.
  • Software version: The software version of the lock.
  • Blocklist up to date: Indicates whether the blocklist is up to date.
    • indicates that the blocklist is outdated.

  • Tags: Contains additional information about the lock such as Remote unlock or High security.
