Replacing Floor Plans

This section describes how to replace imported floor plans to iLOQ Manager.

If your floor plan changes due to, for example, renovation, you can replace the existing floor plan with a new one, without losing the lock placements.

Note:

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Floor plans.
  2. Select Add floor plan.
The Importing of Floorplan wizard is opened.
  3. Select Replace existing floor plan.
  4. Click the ... button and select the file that contains the new floor plan.
  5. Select Next.
  6. The next options depend on the image file type.

If your floor plan is a PDF file:

    • Select the Page number where the desired floor plan is on.
    • Select the desired Resolution for the imported figure.

If your floor plan is an image file in, for example, the PNG format:

    • Check that the figure looks as planned in the preview.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Check the image file size in the Size field.
If the file size exceeds 1 MB:
    1. Select Back.
    2. Select a figure with a smaller file size or, in the case of a PDF file, reduce the Resolution for the imported figure.
    3. Select Next.
  9. Select the floor plan that will be replaced.
  10. Do not rename the floor plan.
  11. Select Next.
  12. A summary screen is shown.
  13. Select Ready.
  14. Select Close.
  15. The figure is uploaded on the server.
  16. Check that the figure is sharp enough.
If the figure is not sharp enough, replace the figure again.
  17. If the replacing floor plan is of a different size than the original, and the locks are on incorrect locations, you can move the lock in their correct positions all at once. See Dealing with Re-scaled Floor Plans.
