Adding Additional Tokens and Attaching them to Users

This section describes how to add additional tokens to iLOQ Locking System, and how to attach them to users.

Note:

If you are adding the first token, proceed as instructed in section Adding the First Token and Attaching It to a User.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

  2. Select Add token.
    The Adding a Token wizard is opened.
  3. Select Add token and attach it to user.
  4. Name the token.
    Tip:

    You can name the tokens according to their color. In this way, it is easy to select the correct token for using the system.

  5. Select Master token.
  6. Select Active.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Select the desired user.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Select the usage rights for the user.

    You can manage the selection of usage rights with the arrow buttons as follows:

    • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
    • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
  11. Select Next.
  12. A summary screen is shown.
  13. Select Ready.
  14. Enter the master password of the locking system.
  15. Select OK.
  16. Insert the empty token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
  17. Insert the original login token to the iLOQ Programmer socket.
    Ensure that the token clicks to its place.
  18. A summary screen is shown.
  19. Select Close.
  20. Select OK.
    The token appears in the token list.
